They are using an external program to sync / automate multiple characters to the actions of one, correct?  That IS botting...whether or not a person is controlling one character out of that mass of toons chained to it or not.

Multiboxers, just like bots and gold sellers are a plague and need to be given a swift kick in the arshe on their way out of the server when they get a much justified ban.

Yes players will use 3rd party software for multiboxing but that IS NOT BOTTING. Seriously learn the diffrence.

Multiboxing

1 player is playing multiple accounts at the same time with or without multiboxing software. So player is controlling accounts and pressing keyboard.

Botting

Player uses software to play for him/her with multiple accounts. Player wont be touching game and lets bot run everything for him. This does not require pressing keyboard.

So thats not botting what they do unless they use software that automates gameplay for them while they're away from computer

lol what?

Multiboxers are something really benefitial for a game, because it's multiple legitimate accounts being played.

And if you're lucky those are even premum accounts.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with multi-boxing.

I know the difference kid.  But you need to realize that multiboxing IS a form of botting because you are automating the actions of multiple characters with external programs it is isn't you actually making the characters perform actions by direct keyboard / controller input.  You chain those characters into duplicating the actions of the input you make on one character, thus they are AUTOMATED, i.e.: BOTS.

As such, they need to be banned.  Period.

Its not botting. Its diffrent and if you knew that you would understand that.

We can look any mmorpgs or other games where ppl been multiboxing with 3rd party software and they have not been banned for botting because its not botting. Botting means you're automating everything and multiboxing doesnt do that. Its diffreant

Automating the actions of a character, no matter if you are controlling the character that one is CHAINED to via automation / external programs makes the chained character run off something other than YOUR direct input.  That is a BOT....it isn't actually being controlled by you.  You need to learn to read.  Here's something to help you understand:

bot3

[bot]
Spell Syllables
noun
1.

a device or piece of software that can execute commands, reply to messages, or perform routine tasks, as online searches, either automatically

or with minimal human intervention (often used in combination):

intelligent infobots; shopping bots that help consumers find the bestprices.

Minimal human intervention means that you press start and thats it.

We've already seen it hundreds of times in other mmorpgs for example WoW where they allow players to use multiboxing softwares because its not botting. When do you realise it doesnt automate your gameplay human is still playing the game while software allows you to transfer commands to another client at the same time.
