[Question] End Game? Do I have to pvp?... =/

Visually the game is mind blowing. Combat is fun (least on force master. not tried others yet).. but I keep getting forced to pvp to clear out two quests from my log a day ( And no you cannot accept then decline. they turn back into shimmering scrolls in the quest log) Now this was fine at low level. Felt even.. but now it's like "Oh a blade master. kthx" Stun locked forever and break free has quite a cooldown.

Now I am not a PvPer anyway so I don't care how broken things are.. I know there is one quest where you are forced to pvp to get the wall run ability.. Pure end game can I be purely PvE doing dungeons and world bosses? or will I have to pvp for hongmoon levels? (which I saw on blade and soul tree site. apparently they give you more skill points)

Please keep the trolling out of replies. My personal feelings on pvp are mine and I don't expect anyone to share the same view.

There's not much to do except run dailies for gold to buy gear.

It gets really, really boring.

I've already stopped playing.

Next patch there will be more to grind and upgrade , and then you can stop playing again :D

You don't have to pvp for the wall climbing quest, but you do have to equip your faction uniform and talk to an NPC. Some have avoided PvP all game (me :P), and have no problems.

I'm trying to rank up so I can do raids and stuff with my faction, but you don't have to PvP at all in endgame if you don't want to. I'm not sure about hongmoon levels though :0

Some of the good daily quests are faction quests and you need to wear your uniform for it but aside from 1 quest, it doesn't actually ask you to kill other players. These quests give you soulstones which is needed for alot of things. You can just buy them from AH but getting them is quite easy so I suggest you do them. I think after next patch there will be new dailies that are pve that gives soulstones.

As for the item required for wall run, you just need to wear your faction uniform and buy it for 50s in the faction area. I managed to buy it without doing any faction quests before.

I'm happy to hear you're loving the game so much! I'm the same, some of the areas are breathtaking to look at; I think I cried when I got to Dragonscale for the first time.

My only input as for the PvP issue is this; open-world faction PvP is a LOT more upsetting and "un-balanced" than the 1-on-1 Duel Arena. In Duels, you don't have griefers that are literally finding joy in ruining your game, you just have one opponent scaled to the same level as you, trying to win against you just like you are against him, and when you predict his move right you can get excited, or when he predicts yours you can grin and nod and acknowledge your own mistake. There's none of the "suddenly out of effing nowhere one-shot-dead then spawncamped and killed every loading screen while he insults your sexual preferences" bullpucky that I run into constantly with the Blues and Reds. If you still sorta want to give PvP a chance, I highly recommend the Arena instead of the Factions. Just mute Region chat in the arena lobby if it's stressful is all, they're like a hornets nest x_x

The faction dailies issue will simply be resolved the more you level up. Your HP and stats will increase quite a bit with each level and then there won't be as many unfair one-shots, and at Level 45 the only griefers you meet will either be matched to your stats or be at a major stats disadvantage-- and there's zero shame in wrecking someone's day who tried to wreck yours first and was in over his head! ("I don't start fights, but I sure finish them!") Also you can band together with other players who share your robe color, and gain strength in numbers, especially if those players are "just trying to get dailies done" too and have the same valid fears as you do.

Friends are easily the greatest resource in a game like this, along with pretty much any MMO I can imagine. Reach out a lot, meet lots of players, find those who are like you and add your strengths together. Join a Clan, or actually a couple Clans, find the one group of players that feels like home to you, add your strengths together there. Not only will that protect you (and them) in Faction PvP, but it will also IMMEASURABLY answer the "what is there left to do in end-game" question, as this game is a thousand times more all-around fun with friends you love.

Rank up in faction to do raids? you need pvp faction rep to do a raid?

^People have been telling me that in order to do PvP raid dailies I need a higher rank than initiate/recruit. (I mean PvP boss raids not PvE bosses.)

Yes but it's super easy. Just do the three dailies in Soulstone Scar every reset.  Takes 10 minutes tops each day.
