Chat stops working!

Hello everyone , I have a problem with the chat of the game , does not write and read messages , and emotes are not working , help me please

As the title says, I keep loosing the ability to chat. I have tried changing toons, restarting game, repairing game. None of that will get my chat to work. I rarely ever use the chat since I tend to play alone, but when someone talks to me and I can't answer its really annoying!

 

Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same problem. I can't use my chat at all, I can see other people's messages, but can't answer then because when I hit enter to send my message it closes the chat but my message won't send. :c

Anyone could help me to figure out what's wrong with my chat? I can't send any messages. I can see other people's messages, but the chat won't send my messages at all... It's really annoying.

Mine as well.. Cannot whisper, cannot talk.. im level 8. Idk why. pls help

Chat currently disabled for characters under level 11 in a vain attempt to control spam apparently

That is still strange that emotes are disabled? I am having this same problem. I thank you all for sharing this information :)
