Prestige point farming in a party issue

There seems to be an issue when prestige farming with a party. For whatever reason, the leader of the party receives the prestige point upon kill majority of the time. Even if the party leader is holding max prestige points (25), majority of the points will still go to the party leader. I'm the one who dealt the most damage to the mob, I'm the one who soloed the mob, I'm far away from the party leader, the party leader isn't doing anything, despite all this majority of the points still goes to the party leader. The fact that when the party leader does nothing and still gets all the points means this is a problem.

 

You are probably wondering if we are within farming range; we are all at most 3 levels higher than mob level, I was just 2 levels above mob level, otherwise how could we farm it.

 

I first noticed this issue when I was farming at The Scorching Sands in The Cinderlands; I teamed up with a stranger, he was leader, after a while I realised all the points kept going to him. I noticed I also wasn't getting points when someone else partied me in Razorwing Ravine area, again the stranger was the leader. Now that I'm at the beach area in Hogshead Pasture, when I partied with someone else, they said majority of the points all went to me, and I was leader.

 

This was not the case when I last played in another region, everyone in the party was getting prestige points at the same time per kill if I remember correctly.

This issue probably isn't brought up often since majority of the players all rushed to 45.

I clearly said: I'm the one who dealt the most damage to the mob, I'm the one who soloed the mob.

I apologise if I sound annoyed, but it doesn't seem like you are reading it thoroughly... :L

well even if you did do the most damage, points usually goes to the one who did the last hit on the boss. ex. I went up against the lycan field boss and it was only 5% away, I walked up and did the last hit and got 3 essences.

And what I'm saying is, I killed the mob, the leader didn't do anything, and yet only the leader gets the points. This shouldn't be the case. Everyone should be getting points.

 

This is different from field boss hunting. So long as you have dealt at least 1% of the boss' health in damage (if I remember correctly), you will get a reward. Besides, everyone should be able to do enough damage to the field bosses in time for them to get a reward, whether they get the last hit or not.
