Stories paint pictures. A good book is going to get you to visualize everything that is going on it. You got that? Some people prefer to  exercise their imagination rather than seeing an image right before their eyes in video, either way it's visual. 

Don't compare porn watching to book reading also. two different things. Unless you are going to compare porn to sexual novels. I guess some men don't want to go through 275 pages to get off?  That STILL doesn't mean it's not visually appealing. I'm seriously questioning how the jiggle effect is even a factor.  How do people even notice?  You see the back of your character and you're to busy fighting to really see it when you're running dungeons and I find it hard to believe many who bring it up on the forums are RPers who stand around.

 

So a lot of this seems to be a matter of people standing around and just staring at their avatar and then coming to the forums and complaining.  :p

Some people do stare to make sure things came out right. I notice the massive jiggle when talking to npc though, it's stupid ridiculous.
