Not really, I don't care either way. I'm not going to do it unless someone is doing a bid war anyways. in which case i have to be a 100% certain they get to the point where they are spamming y. the majority of ppl don't know you can leave and dodge the debt. so i still make a profit. plus i have to want the item as well.

I Don't like spammers too, because of them if i click bid 2 things can happen:

1. my game crash because of a bug

2. my bid fails and then the button goes gray and i can't bid anymore. 

This already happened to me but i was unlucky to click one second after the 1g bid; and there wasn't any spam, for god's sake.

I really don't get all the salt in this thread... 

 

If you don't wanna spend all your gold, then don't be annoying and spam bid. Seriously, that is annoying as shit. Especially on items you know are going to hit 30 silver like they do every time, and you're spamming 1 copper. You better believe I'ma make you pay 2 gold for that. It's the least you can do for the team.

I dont do it because it's annoying, I do it to make money, and to teach people to pay attention to what they are doing.

All the crybabies whining that the OP throws up a gold to get people to bid. As they said, if you don't pay attention that's your own fault, I mean the OP could be a real dick and make sure he has lead and just take all the loot after changing the loot distribution. Also if you live in a country outside North America/Europe (and the countries it does support) then that's on you. I played the CN version of B&S and had worse larceny than you all are having and I never had an issue with the bidding system. I prefer a mini auction over RNG rolls anyday at least I know my chances at getting an item based on the amount of money I decide to make in-game before doing a dungeon and I can actually make more off a dungeon without having to win the item and post it! That's how the game is made, there is no need/greed system to see who can and can't bid and what amount they're allowed to bid.

Hell, if you're going to be bidding on EVERYTHING and not even be really helping in the dungeon and decide to bid on a class item that YOU don't need you're damn straight I'm going to try and trap you in a stupid high bid! This happened to my Community leader and he made someone pay almost a gold for the horns you get from the Lv36+ inferno dungeon because the douche was rolling on KFM weap when he was a BM. Dude got butthurt and isnta quit party, calling him a loser. Only loser there was the one who couldn't read before hitting Y, knowing you can change the bid amount BEFORE bidding.

You need to pay attention to what the last bid was before you bid. It's not an exploit or a cheat. It's just another way to make money if you insist on getting in a bidding war.
