When i choose the file path it says "The selected folder does not have the correct version of the game. Please check the installation path and try again"

did you install the game while an anti virus program was running on your computer ?

 

It is a very common problem when downloading online games that some anti virus programs block some of the download files, but yet when the download as finishes it says download complete, when in fact it is not, 

Best way download game after disabling your anti virus,  when complete start game at least to character screen , then exit and re enable your anti virus, also make Blade and Soul start up icon 'run as administrator'
