[Update error] Could not extract file... What to do?

I get this error when I try to install the game. I've already disabled all services, antimalware programs, gave the BnS folder all permissions, restarted computer several times, and still nothing. What can I do to fix this? I want to play so bad...

The game developers seem to be ignoring this.. Many players also have this error, they should do something about it. Change the patcher program, or at least fix it.

I have this problem as well. I even reformatted my computer and it still is giving me this error :/

Looks like we wont play the game, smh, well, i think i could get the game folder from one of my friends who is already playing the game

Guys! This solved it for me: Simply install Hotspot Shield VPN, run it, and try running the game launcher while the VPN is active! It did work! And I don't need to have the VPN on whenever I want to play!
