Pinchy's outfit

Hey ya,

Have spent a lot of hours farming pinchy's tokens and spent exactly 70 and still no outfit drop from the wheel. Really frustrating. GMs, have mercy on me pls.

70 and no drop seems pretty common farming for outfits.  The three outfits I've farmed all took over 100 spins.

wow really? i usually get my weapon and at least the chest outfit in under 20

the thing about pinchy is that he is killed slowly due to 4 times going into the ground. And ppl that have aggro dont realize to get him close to the bombs.

There isn't a single dropped outfit in this entire game that escapes the clutches of RNG. This one is no exception.

I've gotten pinchy's outfit twice in 15 spins and lycandi's 3x... in 10 spins. Kinda wish I could trade outfits between account honestly because it's such a waste.

Well compared to Vindictus farming, outfit farming is a lot easier so I honestly don't mind spending time to doing so.

I think it's just the luck of the draw - I ran over and helped kill Pinchy, got one token, spun the wheel, got the "Stinger" dobak (please don't hate me)    :D

hate you so much, after spending 70 tokens now i farm again...

Sad thing is I was just doing the boss for fun, at level 31, just wanted to see what kind of stuff you could get on the wheel ^_^

Seriously though, it could be reeeeeally easy for them to do. They just need to make it so you can turn in your other rewards for special scraps at the NPCs next to the wheel. The scraps could be accumulated to just outright purchase the costume or any other parts of the wheels drops. They need to be adequately expensive to avoid making it 'too easy', but this means if you fail to get it in a reasonable amount of time, you can trade in your other rewards to reliably get the costume. The 'scrap price' of each costume piece could vary based on each wheel (and how many essences drop from the boss) to make sure it's fair.

RNG is good, it keeps the game feeling rewarding when those rare items do drop for you, but there needs to be a point where you just have 'earned' what you're looking for.

Totally agree, or they can make max attempts to get the outfit and if you reach it you get it on the next spin.

Really? I got it after about 4 tries, then I threw it away because it was ugly.  Lot of awful outfits for female gon's, I've been noticing.

lol 70 tries thats nothing. it was 102 before i got the tail and 173 before i got the outfit. 

 

I'm over 300 spins in and yet to get the helm which is beyond stupid if you ask me.
