To minimize the flames they should close all the servers and announce that they are fixing it, instead of letting people log in and disconnect.

Same issue here, Win 10, crashes after the NCSoft splash just like Destiny's pic.  Disabled all non microsoft services, file repair, the works.

 

And now we wait...

why? close synapse? if all games accepted biggest games and better than the blade and soul and now I have to uninstall to play it? I spent 300 USD and 125 USD on the keyboard in the founder pack for my client to crash, delete the game please

4049 error just means a process for the game is already running, open your task manager and end that old process and try again to make it to Floor 2 of Login Tower.

Nah, the client doesn't close when it crashes like this.  The 4049 error is just an indication that the service is still running.  You have to manually end the bns process.

Ive used to play with Razer devices (by turning off all of RAzer programms), but after this maintenance i got crashes.. damn T_T

I don't think you have to close Synapse itself but to disable the Razer Chroma SDK Service  like I did and then never crashed again while my razers stuff were all working as usual with Synapse

I didnt know what exacly made the problem so i stop everything razer related and it was working fine i had my peace with it but now this is just stupid...

When you see that 4049, open your task manager.  You'll see the Blade and Soul still running.  Happens when the game crashes, it leaves the game still running in the processes.  Trying to launch it while it's already running is the error for 4049.

I fixed that problem by deleting GameGuard folder, but i still get "DDL list ......" crash after i see NCSoft logo.
