Pornographic profile Pictures.

I feel your pain I'm always offended and these custom profiles are problematic. I spent all day yesterday checking everyone's profiles and it took a few hundred but I did find 1-2 that were problematic. I had trouble sleeping because of it.

A game with sexual content is not rated Mature, it's either rated adult or R+ rated, as for Australia.

 

I believe the rating for games with pornographic content are called 'Adults Only'.

A simple fix would be to have player images hidden. Example: I view Sarah's profile, but I can't see her image. I click the box that contains her image (like when you want to upload your own image) if I want her image to load for me to see.

 

Rated M+ = the chances of sexual tones, blood, alcohol, and violence. Not straight up *cricket* endorsement photos. They have a rating X for a reason. Rating M+ and rating X are two different things.

He isn't talking about the screenshots you can take of your character and have appear in your profile, he is talking about replacing those with actual pornography shots, which goes well beyond what you expect from rated M for mature.

Some of us inspect people to make sure their gear is up to snuff before, entering a dungeon, So we dont have to carry dead weight, and when clicking on a profile and seeing what looks like a 5 year old getting gang raped, Is just plain Idiotic.

If you think something like that is Appropriate for a profile picture, maybe you need a visit from Chris Hansen or hell even the Feds

There is a report feature in-game, use that.. don't whine on the forum about it.

There is a difference between offensive and illegal.

 

This game is 18+. If you cannot handle pornographic material when you're grown up adult or ignore it, don't use internet.

If you see somone with childporn in profile pic (however i doubt that will EVER happen because nobody is THAT stupid) report them.

 

And of course if you are in fact a 12 years old being offended with nudity (which is weird again, since i remember what i was like at that age) then you shouldn't really be posting here.

M ratings don't cover porn. This game isn't 18+, it's 17+. I agree with OP.

My point was NCSoft could potentially get into legal trouble since it's illegal for 17-year olds to view porn. This is besides the fact that it's disgusting and should be removed anyway.
