Suggestion for food/medicine boxes

I noticed some of the boxes you can order from the medicine and cooking guilds are not tradeable. I'm just wondering if there's something gamebreaking about it, because if not, those would make great gifts for friends. The cooking guild is okay I guess since the higher level boxes are tradeable, but it doesn't look like any of the medicine boxes are.
