Did you know that you can turn off profanity filter?

This might seem like a pointless thread but yesterday I talked to a random lv 45 during a dungeon, and long story short, he didn't know that you can turn off the profanity filter. 
If you already know this, then great! If not then look below.

All you have to do is click your O (this is not a zero) key and a window will pop up. It will default to "Game" tab, which is what you want. Under the game tab, look for the word "Community" and click on it! On the right, you will see chat settings in small text somewhere. And underneath that, there is a "Enable Profanity Filter" tick box. Untick the box. Click Apply and then Confirm below and you are good to go!

Yes in fact since first day launch region and faction chat was telling people how to turn it off.

I was wondering how come the NPC can say "Id*ot" in main quest with voice, but I got censored when I was typing it hahah

can i ask why the word "CON" is censored?

in italian it means "with" so imagine the amount of *** we get in chat.

 

what does it mean in censoring language (english?)?

also "god" is censored and when they announced to shut down dungeon servers last weekend, the system message was also censored upon using "disconnect".
