Dzsevus
Hey there everyone! I'm one of those people suffering from the install errors, and after 3 days of trying nearly everything possible to fix them, I think I'm about to give up. I understand that the game has just released and that little is working smoothly, starting from the infamous E----- errors, to crowded servers. But, that is to be expected. I'm not mad or upset (okay, maybe just a tiny bit), but just feel defeated. And so, I decided to just to wait it out- to wait until the overall chaos that is expected in the first week (more?) after a game's release to die down. Hopefully then the team can turn its attention from immediate game breaking issues, to polishing out the game and fixing errors that plague the client. So here's my question: Can I trust the dev team to at some point fix the errors? I expect it to probably take a month, but what is the most accurate/realistic time I should expect? I'm prepared to wait however long, since I am very excited to play the game. I wish godspeed and the best of luck to the developers, they've done a great job. I also wish good luck to those who are relentlessly trying to fix these errors, and finally for speedy queues to those who have gotten through all that trouble ;)
Astaroshe
As a fellow member, I understand the failure that engulfs our innermost gamer-depths and offer the best sympathy I can muster when it comes to clicking things and watching pretty globs of code run around stabbing other globs of code. To answer this saddening question, I agree in that the time it will take to cover up these errors and eradicate them will take a certain amount of time, and a month (or maybe even two,) seems accurate enough to me assuming that the staff working on it put a certain amount of time each day into the task ahead. If only we could receive an actual reliable inside source. That would make answering this question much easier. :(
