Error 4044

Error 4044, how to fix it? And what is the problem?

Error 4044 // 4049:

 

1. Delete the "GameGuard" folder under C or D:\ProgramData\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\BnS\bin
2. And restart "Blade & Soul"- client in order to reinstall GameGuard
3. Restart your PC

Other Solution:

4. Open "Run" (windows button+R) type in msconfig and go to the tab "Services". Check "Hide all system services" and uncheck all services - temporary (including your antivirus software).
Restart and try running BnS.

5. Run your computer in safemode and see if you can run Blade & Soul.

6. Don´t forget to reactivate your services, if it worked.

First terminate any process in your Task Manager related to BnS or Gameguard..
Then replace Gameguard folder in [C:\ > Program Files (x86) > NCSoft > BnS > bin] with this one Here.
