Meins
I started playing BnS with a friend and we now have to choose professions, And we would like to know what's the best combination of both crafting and gathering guilds considering 2 players. We're low level. (Not sure it matters for this case) Thanks in advance.
Cessie
I sat down the other day and tried to make heads or tails of the different profession guilds. The sad part is that for some of the crafting skills you need items gathered through two specific gathering professions and items from one specific crafting guild. But to make the items in the other crafting guild you'd need two additional gathering guilds to make due. So it really does help that you're two people to split the burden onto. It'd also help if you just leveled a second character, a slave. One that you're creating simply to assist with professions. Try to decide what you'd like to craft as well. Do you want to make buff food and potions? Then Acquired Taste is for you. Want to craft your own soul shields? Well there's a place for that too. They all have very specific and straightforward uses and decided what crafting guilds to pick shouldn't be too difficult once you take your preferences into account. Then use google or go by the old ''trial and error'' route to find the gathering skills suiting the combinations of crafting skills you chose. Darkshana
Right now the two of the most required profession is Unsealing charm, and Transformation stone. they are expensive to level but makes good profit later on. The cheapest profession would be Gem, and black smith but they yield little profit. Usually professions are connected You would have a dominant Crafting which is supported by both of the gathering guild and one crafting being only supported by one of the gathering. I would say Merry Potter and the Soul Warden if you want to save money later on. Radiant Ring and Black smith if you want to save money now. Merry potter and Soul Warden is best profession if you already have a 45. Silver Cauldron is a ghost town and the Cooking profession is only meant to make mats for other professions which is a really risky profession. Scinful
Darkshana is pretty much spot on. It is worth it to note that gem and blacksmith have so little profit because you currently are given the best gear in the game right away. These weapons were originally given away to let new people catch up easier. If you plan on sticking around a while, it might be worth giving them a look. As this will not always be the case.
