Failed to connect to server (200) since launch

i been getting this error in both NA and EU servers since day 1, NEVER got past the PIN and made a character, also i'm ALWAYS asked to verify my IP by mail.

there was a thread about it that was closed for suppose "issue solved" after maintenance, but the error appears anyway no matter what's added to the game.

i know for a fact that many people experience this issue and are left without solutions or help.

take note i tried everything already and all failed:

-run as admit

-allow game files and launcher in firewall

-made sure i don't have Proxy or VPN

-turn IP to static

-restart router to get new IP

-complete uninstall and reinstall game and launcher 3 times

 -file fix

-restart the PC

-repeatedly login

-friend from my country plays the game, so its not regional issue.

-filled a ticket which told me the issue will be resolved in today's maintenance (24.1.16), which i knew won't work, cuz i have this issue since launch.

 

this is getting ridiculous, we need further support.

any help is welcome, thank's.

having the same problem...
5 days and i'm in contact with the support / community
the support is unfriendly at all and replaying like bots
4 days and talking with the support they ask for a lot of files and testing programs then tell me to turn of any running program.. like wtf about 12 hours non stop texting and trying to explain the problem then he ask me to stop any other program and say my problem is solved. really !!


the community in the other hand came here to panic when the servers are under maintenance then after the servers back live they leave with ""problem fixed! ""..


no idea what the hell is going on but  for all the people who are getting the error ""Failed to connect to server (200)"" i have to say we are getting kicked in the face buy the support and other people who don't understand what is going on and come to scream here when the servers are down..

this game is 5 years old and still so many problems and the main thing is the error "Failed to connect to server (200)" this happen to every one who uses dynamic ip.


we need the game to support dynamic ip as well. why only static ip ? 
i have waited 4 years to play the game in english on the EU server  and now you tell me we don't support you internet connection!!...

the only way to play the game right now is to use VPN program just like we are playing on chinese server -_-

but the vpn causes a lot of things ,+400 ping , low fps , sometimes it open web pages by it self and installing apps because the vpn is a free program.

this is the only way to play the game right now but it doesn't work all the times

so if you're getting ""Failed to connect to server (200)"" then try to use vpn and play the game

 and pray for god that the developers will see us and let us play like normal people...

we are minority it seems, no one care about us.

i wrote 2 tickets, in one 2 different staff members took me seriously and told me to send different log files so they can inspect what's the issue, including disable all programs. but the 3rd staff member that answered ruined everything, he did a copy-paste like a bot to their support article which says make "make sure you don't have proxy or 2 NIC's, and if that so, contact you ISP and tell them that your ip changes too fast".. as if they will understand such arbitrary issue...

2nd ticket was answered in same bot words.

its safe to say we are on our own.. they won't do anything and ppl that can play riots only when servers are down.

 i can't believe after all these years i gotta change my IP to static for 1 game... anyway i called the ISP, they will call me back in 24 hrs, (hopefully) than i can ask them to change from dynamic to static.

i will let you know if it solved the issue -_-

Oh, I have a 100 % fix for this problem: You only have to drop some blood of a virgin on batwings, dyed in the sunlight of the sahara and cook them at midnight with a full moon in a kettle full of orphan tears. Throw blade and soul in the kettle and forget about it :P

 

Has anyone heard something from the support about this problem?

depressing update guys..

called ISP, they say changing it to static cost money monthly and cuts my net speed from 60 to 30.. so that's obviously not the right answer for our troubles.

they think the wireless connection disconnects very quickly for short while which causes this problem, so the cause may be the wireless connection isn't good, or the modem does issues, which means calling the infrastructure and pray it works, or maybe even drilling the walls to make it wired connection, and all this for just 1 game.

this is RIDICULOUS!!! the answer is to get a new internet setup: pay, fix , replace on OUR end. it DOESN'T make ANY sense! i can connect to Wildstar and to any other online game, and in general- the net, for YEARS just as fine.

there's nothing we can do, it can't be that all of us have to change the internet setup. its clearly something with their servers disallowing connection with some legit networks. 

i have no idea what to do, maybe one day someone in the forum will figure a way-around, some safe and free bypass program, hell if i know..

or maybe one day they will change their servers protocols to allow us..

support team still try to work with me on who's end the issue pops. i had to record with a program the IP connection of their EU server for 30 mins, triggering the error over and over so they can collect as much data from it. they also asked me bunch of questions about my network connection, ISP, and whatnot.. i will update you guys how its going. 

they haven't gave up on my so fast or closed the ticket on me.. for now... i will give them that.

Hi all, if you've already put in a Support Ticket, please make sure it's updated that the issue is not resolved for you. If you haven't yet put in a Support Ticket and you're getting this error, please make sure you put in a Support Ticket. We're trying to gather as much information as we can on those that are still getting the 200 error.

I have no idea what to do with this :

  1. If you are running a proxy or cache server, please disable these before attempting to login
  2. If you use 2 or more NIC cards, you need to disable all but one

If neither of the above worked, you will need to contact your ISP in regards to your IP switching to quickly for a resolution.

 just give me an option to accept all the IP´s

Listen all! i can enter the game finally! after so much time! for the first time i passed the PIN and can create character!

what i did was calling my ISP,telling them what B&S support team told me in my ticket:  "your connection is suffering from packet loss. If you are not familiar with this term, it simply means the loss of data while in transit from point A (your computer) to point B (our servers). "  Because the loss of data is happening prior to it reaching our game servers, you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance.

the ISP tried to put a "Sex, Violence, Gambling sites blocker", which moves your IP to a more stable with less movements area in their net servers, the moment they added it i could login!

they gave me a way to bypass this blocker by pressing Windows+R, write NCPA.CPL, Right-click on the network you using (either wireless or wired-local connection) than Properties, protocol IPv4, than press on "use the following DNS servers" than you need to type what the ISP tells you! and do it on all pc's. that way our precious porn wont be blocked, AND in the same time we can play B&S while that sites blocker policy of the ISP is on. 

HAHA! CHEERS!!!!

Hahaha so funny :) Supports like a bot. GO AND ACCEPT ALL IP'S....WHAT'S PROBLEM WITH DYNAMIC IP'S?.....PFFF           SO BAD ADMINS

ehhhhh this error is cancer srsly... i reached lvl 45 by using wtfast but now... trial endet and i wont spend money on stupid program to play a damn game.. It just not right.Cmn Ncsoft make your move and fix your  connection errors....
