Quest Log NONEXISTENT?!?!?!

I've played Beta so i know where it is, but on all my characters, I can't get past the first tutorial because the quests log icon never shows up!!! It's so frustrating... I repaired files, tried killing myself in game, i've uninstalled/reinstalled... made new characters... still no quest log icon that appears after you learn a few skills in hongmoon from the book/Yungmuk... http://imgur.com/zW9DwQq should be under the minimap...

Seriously need some help in this. Is there any shortcut button to be press for the quest log to be view?

YES!!!
Try pressing --->  .
It's the shortcut for the quest log. Press a few times till you get the quest log out below the mini map!
