Using keys for weapon chests bugged?

Yeah right now there might be a bug? Or a major delay going on? Not sure I'm at the area where you fight the stalker at the beginning area. I have a bit of a high amount of stacks of weapon creates or chests. I opened one. Nothing happened. Opened another one and still nothing happened. Not sure if these are now bugged cause it's to high on stacks? Or what.
