I've been hearing that a lot, mostly revolving around razer but I always wondered if it was universal. I'll see if disabling background programs help, thanks.

To everyone claiming it's a DDoS attack, digital attack map doesn't show anything big enough it would take down the servers as of right now - we'd be talking well over the 5gbps line to knock out all the servers, considering they're built to handle thousands of connections at once. (link)
