Tahlie
So, kind of a weird question here, but here goes: Playing this game (in specific. No other game does this to me) makes me kind of dizzy and lightheaded, even when I only play for an hour. What about this game in particular is making me dizzy? Is there a graphical setting I can change? This didn't happen at first, but once I got to the Tyrian Cult area (second major quest hub, after Jadestone Village) it started happening, and got really bad once I started questing in the Cinderlands. Tahlie
Welp, good to know no one cares. If I'm not complaining about queues or something, just ignored. Neat.
Osmenthe
I don't think it's that no one cares, it's that what is called "Field of View Sickness" isn't very common. If you want to lean about what is happening to you and how to mitigate it Google "FOV Sickness". I can usually play most games and not feel the effects myself, but I couldn't play Guild Wars2 without becoming nauseous after 10 minutes and it was because that game had a HORRIBLE field of view (very restricted). They have since added an FOV Slider and I can tolerate playing for some time now. For me personally Console games are the worst offenders and it effects people in many different ways. This could be why you are having issues playing.

Well, it's not so much nausea as it is that I just get a little lightheaded, my head feels fuzzy, my vision has a "motion blur" kind of thing going on, and my mind is like, confused. It's hard to explain. xD Would FoV cause all that?

Like myself, in GW2 I would feel the need to be sick after 10 mins but TERA would only make me a little light headed after an hour or so. This game has a lot of moving parts. Couple that with a sub-optimal FOV and you could be effected. I'm not saying that's exactly what's going on, but it does happen and when it does, it tends to be a surprise the first time. Some things that mitigate the effect for me are zooming out a little further and sitting back a little more from my monitor.

I actually fiddled with the settings a bit, and turning off motion blur seemed to help (or maybe it was just all in my head,I do have hypochondria). It's funny what our bodies do. Jouju
Well, That's not strange for me since I have similar thing with FPS games, After playing any FPS game for a duration that ranges from 30 - 60 minutes, my temperature goes up, I feel my ears so hot and I feel nausea, some people say it's because lighting is low where I play, try switching on more lights in the room, this might help..
