Emote bug across clients using different languages

First off, I know about the emote localisation known issues, but I figured it wasn't really what I experienced so I'm going to report it here:

 

Basically, I'm running the English client on a French server.

My emotes work on my end without any issue, but my friends get them in plain text instead of triggering the animation on my character.

The opposite is also true, all their emotes are displayed in plain text (in french) on my end, with no animation.

This involves ALL emotes, not just a few.

 

Hopes that will help resolve the issue. Until then, thanks for your work and take care o/

Quick update on this, the last patch didn't resolve the issue.
