Where the hell am I?

I was supposed to start playing with my friend today (I'm from EU, he's from NA) but apparently when I downloaded the game, it gave me the EU version? o.O I only have the EU servers on my list in character creation.

How do I get the US version and US servers? Or is it impossible because of where I live?
