Launcher downloader/updater constantly stopping download

Every time I try to download the game from the launcher, it starts out fine, then suddenly the bandwidth drops to zero and stops. This happens within a few seconds to a few minutes after starting the download, randomly. Every single game with these retarded 'launchers' does this. Frankly I'm pulling my hair out with frustration from having to babysit the launcher and constantly restarting it just to download a tiny, TINY portion of the game before it stops for no reason at all. When it stops my internet is not interrupted whatsoever. No, it isn't a problem with my connection, drivers, router, ISP, or any of the above. Torrents work fine but the one that is hosted for the game files has extremely slow speed and zero seeders/peers at 100%, meaning its impossible to download the thing completely.

 

In fact, I doubt anyone will have a solution for this; I'm posting this to see if anyone else has this bizarre problem with 'game launchers'.

Yes I am also really annoyed and just gave up on this game because of this, several people are having the same issue for seemingly no connected reason. And the "methods" I got from support either were bullshit or just did nothing and I've been trying and waiting for this game for the longest time, this seriously has lowered my want to play this game....

have you tried disabling any virus protection and or firewall? I had to do both to get the game downloaded.
