Game update deleting the part 2 game download?

I've been trying to download Part 2 of the game since yesterday, but at least two updates have happened that stop the download. I have to reopen the launcher, which makes me download the update. After that, I notice that the entirety of my Part 2 download has been wiped and I have to download from scratch. The first time it was 87% downloaded. The second time 61%. If the launcher download speed is this slow, and updates come this frequently, killing my download progress each time, will I ever finish downloading this game?
