Force Masters pausing mid jump

I'm unsure if this is something in their move set but while facing Force Masters in arena matches they will continually jump and it looks like they get stuck in mid air in a casting animation. At that point in time they cannot be targeted by abilities and I am unable to hit them with melee attacks. Moments later they appear further away and out of range. I am unsure if this is something in their kit, a glitch or something else but it makes fighting them more of a pain in the butt.

Uh I'm fairly new to the game but my only character atm is a force master, there is an option to upgrade an ice ability which launches the caster in the air and freezes players beneath them until they move, but as far as I know the moment you move you reappear from where you cast it.
