Gathering node help

Ive been waiting for hours for the damn shell to appear under the bridge. in jadestone village. why isn't it appearing. on any channel? can someone help me out here.. I wanna craft. but cant even get a first recipe. for fish network.

I think it should be always there hm. Have you accepted the quest? Or maybe it's in a different location? The location is described in your crafting window, hotkey L

nvm sorted it... feel like a fool. dno why I was able to gather other nodes.. not this one.
