Move Student Pack items to another character?

So I bought the Student Pack kit to get membership to get online yesterday, but opened the Student Pack items on my very first character. This was maybe a silly thing to do, but I assumed the items would be available on all my characters. This was not the case, and now I'm unable to move the items to my other characters. The items are bound, and it would appear that I am not able to mail them. Anyone else experience this? Am I overlooking a solution to this? :) Thanks for any input.
