Student Kit question

Hi there, Are the student kits good across account or is it for just one character?  In the bundle FAQ it said only one of each kit per account so did I mistakenly assume that they were account wide?  Not sure why a pay game would limit that if it weren't ?  Sadly, if it is just for one toon, it went to a deleted one while trying out game play. 
I read that the founders bundle might be bugged, could this just be a bug? /fingers crossed.

I bought a duelist bundle earlier today but have not received anything from the purchase.  It also said the benefits would be applied automatically but it's been 8 hours and 2 tickets later and still nothing.  I tried looking to see if I had to "apply it" somehow but didn't see anything online.  I hope the student kit doesn't do the same for you.
