warring factions

so I just completed the chapter 17 quest where you have to defeat the puppets in the "Gate of Heaven" and "Gate of Hell", the thing is, I died in the Gate of Hell, stood up - defeated all puppets but now I have no clue what to do. I fear my death triggered a bug, in the questline stands that i have to decide which faction I'll take, but not where I have to go to choose one. On the Map is also no location, can somebody help me where I have to go

Apparently the second i expanded my quest log(the one on the side of the screen) there were a few quests open for me to accept. Includding my class quests and the call of the warring factions.

You get to pick your faction way early in the game. You should try heading to Bamboo village. should see the NPCs standing around.

You need to have the warring factions quest in order to see the faction npc in bamboo village. The only way to get it is by opening the quest log on the side of the screen under the map. If not you will be able to choose a faction on the chapter 17 quest unless you die, then a bug occurs where you cant see the faction npc that should be in the cave waiting for you to choose one of the at the ending of the chapter 17 quest.
