Name Change Voucher Bug!

When you change your name using the name change voucher, it will render your original name unusable! For example, if your current name is "a" and change it to "b", "a" will now appear to be taken in the game even though "a" no longer exists within the game.

 

When I reached out to support they couldn't do anything for me and told me they would forward it to their development team for further "investigation".

I'm fairly certain that the solution should be quite simple yet I don't understand what needs to be further investigated.

 

If you want to rename your character with the intent of still using that original name for another character, delete the character completely and then recreate the character using the new desired name.
