Black Screen When Skipping Cinematic. Nothing happens, no sound, nothing, game does not crash. I have to bring up task manager, kill process and then restart the game.

I've had the same issue except for the cinematic sounds continuing before it goes all silent. Relaunching the game has also led me to that repair file 85byte download issue. I hope they fix it soon.
