MakotoKun
On a GTX 980 and getting FPS drops in villages, parties and just random locations around the map even on the graphics preset of "2". I started running MSI Afterburner to see if anything is capping out anywhere and my GPU is running at 28%(at the time of writing this) and CPU at around 40% and RAM at 653mb used in game. I don't know what the issue is. I get drops down into the 40s and such. Anybody know what the problem might be?
Aria Kyu
If you are using an ASUS Motherboard, please uninstall the program, ASUS Game First lll. This program has caused many FPS dips in countless games. The program is useless and is harmful to player's gaming experience.

Zyrelia
Are you running in true full screen? If you choose full-screen in the options, that will actually put you into Borderless Windows mode. You have to hit Alt+Enter (both at the same time, don't hold one then hit the other) a couple of times until your screen flickers black, and then you should be in true full screen. It should give you better performance, at the cost of tabbing-out causing the game to minimize. Try that to see if it works.
MakotoKun
Thanks also for the reply, but to no avail. I have opened a ticket with tech support and explained my situation. I will see what they say.
