Necrotic Laboratory boss bug still persists

Why is this still a thing when it was reported in beta?  Killing the last guy and his two bodyguards in that little doorway where they spawn will make it impossible to pick up their drops because the stupid portal spawns right on top of them.  So now I'm out two drops since they cannot be picked up.
