Black Screen When Skipping Cutscene

If you skip a cutscene too quickly you will be stuck with a black screen. You are forced to restart the client entirely. This has been an issue since the CBTs. Please look into this.

They've known about it since alpha. Still hasn't been fixed. Funny how that works, right?

I just had it happen, let the cutscene play a few seconds, pressed escape and got a black screen. Guess I'm watching cutscenes from now on.

Yeah its a shame. I already watched all the cutscenes when I played in the CBTs... I really don't want to sit through them again. Makes me wonder if they even took any feedback from the CBTs because I reported it then as well :|

Plz fix this asap....with this current queue this is pain...

just got the same problem, and now have to wait 53 minutes to get in again...

It is obvious why this game will become a casual game.. the devs dont care.. look at how high the prices for the Costumes STILL ARE!!! I mean, taking 100 off doesnt make it better.. there is no way I will pay $30 for an ugly ass costume... so why make it that long.

 

Still, I logged in at excatly 12:00pm CST and was DC due to Namsooyo 8 min after... been 6hrs since and I still havent been able to log on my toon -_-

 

I would make a new one, but Already wasted 5k on random stuff....

I'd make a new character but I lose ALL my founder items since someone thought it was okay to make the founder items only claimable ONCE. I'm really disappointed and hope NCSOFT gets on the BnS team to change it. GuildWars2 is another game hosted by NCSOFT and almost ALL cosmetics are account-wide and can be claimed on multiple characters.

yea, but even before GW2 was like that many people quit because it wasnt like that in the beginning. Everyone left that pile of feces within 3 months because Legendaries were toon bound. Yes, I bought founders, and even I feel the hard sting of regret. More than likely I am planing on quitting within a month or 2 when BDO comes out.

 

These were all things we asked for during CBT.. but it is now obvious they didn't listen.

True. GW2 wasn't like that in the beginning but it was gradually added and they actually started listening to us (somewhat). But as you said during every CBT I saw thread after thread talking about making the founder items Account-Wide. There was even one with 20+ pages. 

 

But this post is about the blackscreen cutscene issue. I hope they won't ignore it any longer.

Never had this issue in alpha beta or on TW server.  Really annoying, and it's not even all cutscenes, so I'm always tempted...

Seems to be completely random. I'm playing with a friend and he got this issue with the first Samoyoo cutscene. I got it during a cutscene in the zone after Everdusk :\
