Re-downloading. Uninstalled the Close Beta software. See if that works.

I can confirm that after downloading the new installer seems is verifying the files ...and maybe (it's taking a bit to just verify them) it will work.

I'll update as soon as it's done.

 

Update: it's downloading another 1.6 gb so it seems the CBT client won't work after all (or at least it didn't for me).

just resolved my own issue: i turned off windwos defender and dsiabled my anti virus (syamntec) problem solved. Try that homie!!!!!!!!

Uh oh!  NVM!!!!!!!! well it worked till i got to 160 mbs then it stopped again, BEFORE IT would go to 80 mbs. FML  Progress I guess lol

I'm past that...but is going very slow...like using 1/3 or less  of my bandwith ...and nothing else is in download.

Did you download and install the new download client from this link: http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/news/head-start-has-begun/ ? If not, download and install and start the new client it has. The closed beta client doesn't work anymore.

Go to http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/ click Download in the top center. Uninstall your old launcher first

I tried doing everything that everyone else has, but when I got the launcher to come up instead of clicking update I did file repair before anything seemed to have work.
