Hi, I am using MacBook Pro since 2013 and now it's time to change to a gaming notebook for me, I am currently in Japan and so far I found MSI and Alienware, my budget is 1500$~ Alienware 17 R3, MSI GE72, and this on http://www.g-tune.jp/products/solution/nextgear-note_i5700/

Witch wil be better for Blade and Soul and for Final Fantasy XIV?

Will gladly listen to you all, thank you!:)

Personally, my opinion on this will always be get a desktop because it's a ton cheaper for the same specs. For the laptop, either one should run both. As always, it depends on the graphics you want to run at with a certain fps.

Honestly, I wouldn't even touch Alienware IF I had a choice between others.

I'd get the MSI personally, but I'm bias because I have that one and I LOVE it.

On amazon it cost 1,094$ for 16GB 256SSD + 1TB HDD :).

Or 1,129$ for 16GB Ram 256GB SSD + 2TB HDD.

I have both a Desktop and this laptop...

My desktop is

16GB Ram

i5-4670k

GTX 780

I did not miss my desktop at all when I went to Dallas for a month :).

Just look at the price difference, why is alienware 500 usd more?

is the 970m really worth 500usd+ over the 960m?

That is up to you but I'd say hell no :).

I play BNS on max settings with my MSI laptop.

Its fine, doesn't over heat.... most it got to was 60c.

The cooling on it is lovely. It even has fan controllers.
