  1. As someone else said I'm talking about the upcoming "sweetheart coins" But even in the anniversary event. 12 is more than twice as many as sacred vials cost. It's clear NC doesn't understand what synthesis stones are used for. At some of the higher stages you need 40-70 Synthesis stones for a single upgrade attempt. That means you would have to do the event for a month for a SINGLE attempt to upgrade one accessory. The cost is regardless to the point the 2 per week limit is the bigger issue. It should be 40 per week or they should just put regular fusion stones in. NC thinks they are hard mode fusion stones when they're more like hard mode fusion stone fragments. Even in the f10 bundles they put like 3 syntehsis stones?? Is that a joke. You literally can't do anything with 3. They should just put regular fusion stones in stuff if they don't understand how the item works and the quantities you actually need.
  2. Yo I know you guys don't really have any control over the events we get and this is just wasted breath. But can you stop putting synthesis stones in as rewards if you don't understand how they work. Putting 1 synth stone for 80 candy coins or w/e is an absolute joke. It takes 20-80 synthesis stones for a single upgrade attempt depending on your ancient level. It's literally useless to get 2 a week from an event regular fusion stones would be better.
  3. Korean heart has always been pay to win like this. It's brand new though so give it some time to see if they put it in any events. At current prices it's like $800+ to upgrade your heart so it's worth it.
  4. No. This is an MMO. If you can't find time to join raids and/or you don't want to do raids you don't get new raid gear. Plus the new story will give you ET gear anyway. Not all content needs to be soloable.

  6. You don't need it. For most classes its just a marginal upgrade and for every class the upcoming mythic necklace in November replaces it. Just use aggressor necklace which you can get from running normal modes. Its equivalent or better than spirit walker until at least stage 6 or stage 9 for most classes. It's plenty good enough. Upcoming gear from mythic dungeon is supposed to be significantly easier to obtain. If you can't handle not having everything people who have played actively for years have then just quit playing now cause you're never going to enjoy this game. Mythic dungeons should make the catchup mechanics much better but you'll always be behind on things like HM level, unity, and gems especially if you don't whale.
  7. Fyi you don't need to check transmute to see. Immutable items are character bound and not salvagable. If it was the full versions they'd be bound to account and would show gem fragments for salvaging. Same as regular gems.
  8. It is more complicated than that. As much as I dislike the communication from NCWest they're also completely at the mercy of NC home office decisions. We got dumped on the primary NCSoft CEO's wife and are stuck in what appears to be some ego dumped mess. The employees are at the mercy of the management and the system as a whole which just seems to be absolutely awful.
  9. I'm used to it but it doesn't mean we shouldn't continue to call it out. I know this community is incredibly toxic and it is probably a no win situation for community managers like Hime but I also have no sympathy for them at this point because of how awful the communication is and how poorly they treat their playerbase.
  10. Yeah, it is obviously an assumption but I think with history of behavior of the company it is a completely reasonable one to make. Especially since the mutable versions still exist and work(can get them with ToO coins). At this point since it's been 3 weeks the only correct thing for them to do is put a 0 hmcoin bundle with one each of the full mutable versions in f10 and issue an apology. But they wont do that cause they almost never pick the path that is fair to the players.

  13. Korea doesn't get this trash call to arms event. They have better raw catchup mechanics in soul boost and story rewards(story gives basically what this call to arms gave). Also last call to arms event the gems were the full mutable versions I believe.(could be wrong on this cause I skipped the last one but it's what I heard). So this is a new change if that's true.
  14. That's not a theory it is exactly what happened. And instead of just making it right by giving players the normal mutable versions that work and an apology they leave them broken for weeks because they are both greedy and incompetent.
  15. Trove gets accidentally left in so you guys perform an emergency maint, don't announce it, and delete the forum thread about it? Can you guys act like a professional company for once and communicate with your player base. What, you don't want the community aware that you can do extra maintenance because then there's no justification for the stuff you've left broken for 3 weeks since UE4 launch?
  16. I agree that the dungeons are too difficult for the current level but the fact that you measure things by AP shows you have no idea what you're talking about. With the hp nerfs easy mode is pretty doable in c2a gear. You're not supposed to solo them and the mechs do a ton of damage if you bother to do them. A large part of the reason f8 is so dead is because people got used to ignoring all mechs and soloing content cause it was too easy. Things should get better in November too when we get mythic items. The challenge level 1 mythic dungeons will give best in slot gear be a lot more accessible(300m hp instead of 2b). The real issue is just that. We got such a random mesh of patches completely out of order. We're mid skill changes and balancing patches so things like WL TD and Sin are broken(in different ways). We got dungeon refresh without mythic gear or the breaker system.

  18. There's not "wipe" mechs but for new players they'll still die. The bosses do a pretty considerable amount of damage with enrage phases. Also they have just a metric balls of hp. Even in easy, 2b hp is a lot for people in fresh c2a gear that are new to the game and is actually impossible for people in story gear once c2a is over. I ran some dailies on my warlock 3rd spec alt that I sustain ~4-5m on. With a full party of just anyone from f8 I was having a pretty hard time getting through them. And I know all the rotations/keep good up time. Take me out of the equation and just have 5-6 new players and they're basically boned. They aren't gonna be able to clear most of these dungeons and even if they can it takes FOREVER. Most these dungeons have 2 bosses, if each boss is taking them 6-8 minutes you're talking close to 30 minutes a dungeon with recruit, travel time, and loading screens. Pugging dailies as a new player shouldn't take 3+ hours to do 7 dungeons. They'll just quit.
  19. Yup. Also just in case anyone thinks I'm just whining. This doesn't impact me. I'm a mega whale, I got 3500 AP, blackmoon gear, and I sustain 30m+ dps. I'm concerned about the game dying. I want it to be new player friendly. I even spend time in f8 helping people do dailies and teaching mech when it's way way faster for me to solo it because I want new players sticking around.
  20. I'm talking about story gear. You don't get aransu 6 out of story gear. I think it will be *kind* of managable with the c2a bundle but what about next month when that's gone for 6 months to a year? When people still get shadowforged 3 out of story. Also keep in mind if your gunner is on your same account it has things like unity level that gives a ton of stats new players don't get.
  21. It's not my fault you don't join publically available discords that have been doing NC's job for them and tell us what's coming. The reason I'm calling out the difference between Korea and us is because we are getting the same changes for dungeon difficulty yet not given the same reward changes. Korea doesn't get call to arms they have a permanent soul boost and better story rewards. So if we don't get the same catchup mechanic why do we have the same difficulty. I get scale fragment chests and I can still solo the bottom half of that and 2-3 man the others with my usual buddies. I'm putting myself in the shoes of a new player. You come out of story gear doing 500-700k dps for most classes(little higher on some of the new third specs). Lets assume new players can manage 1m dps(which I doubt). That's as 6 man party average of 6m dps. Assuming that's 100% uptime(which it never is) it's going to take a full 6 man group of new players 8 minutes to do Sandstorm Temple or Brood Chamber's respective boss fights. They will literally be on the cusp of failing to enrage timer even if they play the fight perfectly and know all the mechs. On the other hand if they came out of story with TB9 like Korea you could expect somewhere between 2-3m average dps and it'd suddenly becomes a lot more realistic. We shouldn't have to rely on call to arms to get to a manageable gear level. Call to arms requires you to farm content to get the gear necessary to farm said content. Hell it's not even only new players getting shafted on story rewards. Even regular players on the lower end getting shafted. In Korea the new dungeon Forest of Echoes and the refreshed dungeons give IA soulshields yet ours give TB. We get the same difficulty yet worse rewards at every step?? Even our pay2win events are worse hahaha. Their fortune's favor gave 10x the amount of scales ours did.
  22. Those easy modes have 2 billion + hp though. Go on the test server, buy a 60 voucher, and hop into Brood Chamber easy mode and let me know how it goes with story gear. Is there going to be hard push back on NC Korea to expand our story rewards to match Korea's or give us soul fiest/boost w/e they call it. In Korea they come out of the story with tb9. We get a limited time call to arms event that requires farming the refreshed dungeons to match that. It's basically impossible for new players unless they meet people kind enough to straight carry them. Which expands the problem, people don't learn the game and just quit after the event is over cause f8 dries up and they can't do any content.
  23. Exactly. Just another case of a player who's spent years only doing Brood Chamber down and spends a ton of time on aransu alts then complains he can't keep up with whales.
  24. What a joke. There are plenty of end game geared players that are 100% or nearly 100% free to play. Sure you're not gonna have mythic unity stones or hepta dyad gems but you don't need those to do end game content. The reality is you're probably just bad at the game if you have this mentality. You don't want to learn mechs and you want to be able to just burst content like end game players. There are people with c2a level gear doing HoI and TC all the time. TC has been out for what almost 3 months? If you did 3 runs a day(30-40 minutes of playtime) you'd have 300 runs and probably ring and earring by now. Make a challenge mode group too and you can get easy scales and a chance at grand psyches. The damage threshold is really low to clear hard mode TC/HoI you just have to actually learn the rotations and do the mechs. Do your weeklies, do old raids like VT,SK,BT,TT (people host them all the time in faction chat) and you'll get a ton of gold and even new raid materials from the daily/weekly rewards.
  25. This is so untrue it's laughable. Blade and soul's cash shop is really bad and has a lot of issues but you can not just "be end game" from f10. It barely ever sells anything useful and things you really need like scales or cores are almost never in there or in with incredibly small quantities for a really high price. Like even the current bundle, $50 for 5 nocturnal scales and 5 shimmering scales limited to 3 times per account, you need 100's of each. You could spend $150 and it's not even enough to get one accessory to stage 10. There's also unity level which cannot be bought. Charms have 24 hour cooldowns so even when they're in shops/bundles it doesn't matter. Same with hongmoon level, just like scales it's rarely in the shop and when it is it's such a small amount it doesn't matter at all. Blade and soul is an endless long term grind and the real pay to win stuff(pet achievement, gems, and mythic unity) should be the least of a concern for regular players. That only has a significant impact on the already end gamed geared people competing for top 10 in CM etc and they removed most the ladders anyway. Even if you can buy a lot of stats(which I agree is bad) you *HAVE* to play a metric f**k ton to progress in blade and soul regardless. If you play as much as you think you do the reality is you're probably just bad and doing the wrong things. You can't just farm 3+ year old dungeons that give onyx scales and expect to progress. You need to do the new content and learn mechs. You need to do spectral(learn mechs). You need to do raids(learn mechs).
