  1. if my “future-sight” is worth anything at this time: they are working on transitioning it to more beginner friendly and less pay to win for more play to win. however i am worried their development team is looking at what “works” instead of creative “BnS-style” innovations… i.e, with the northern continent they added those nodes for account-wide stats, and the recent update includes iteration on the same system but also working backwards into their earlier content which seems promising… but, on the other hand the collections and bounty type content gets boring really fast IMO especially when the cheaters still keep their ill-gotten gains and clog ranks with their plethoras of burner accounts, as well as their time worn practice of abusing the power creep to skip the crafted gameplay coordination and corrupting any potential for communal unity… pretty much why i play alone: as a non cheating lover of high-craft video games, i really dont know for certain if who i see around has any capacity for relating to the experiences im looking for and what i believe the developers intentions are with their artistry within their workplace. theyve trended on bigger and bigger numbers (damage, health, modifiers, etc…) as the game ages, but i hope they realize that is not important to the game, what is though is the relativity between player’s ability to cooperate with each other towards common goals with only some regard to distinguishing player’s long term investment with time, payment, and/or both i think we all want Blade and Soul to find long term success, especially if one takes the time to read forums, and also log in to post/reply so much to look forward to and lots of great experiences bring me here even though some individuals have made them less so. Consider how beneficial the practice of online game participation has been for your health! I love that Blade and Soul exists personally.   2. the enrage timer mechanic is a contentious topic: - the start of the fight indicates on the boss' health bar how long before the enrage attack, but then the timer disappears until the final 10 or so seconds and then the boss' enrage attack is its own event before the fight is over no matter what after that amount of time from the start of the fight... - this mechanic is not well introduced to the players at this current state of the game - how the "on-boarding" process exists currently, and throughout the main quest line... - this leads to very shattering experiences for one's interest in the time given to the game experience... - i think this dissonance could be improved in a number of ways which don't involve having to restart the fight, one example might be a max-health percent reduction on an appropriate scale, as a result of reaching the particular boss' time limit until rage attack; in this way the time limit idea still exists, but if you are resilient enough through the boss' patterns you should be able to complete the fight no matter how long it takes...

I understand the temptation for making comparisons between regions however, from my unique perspective the biggest problem in the game stems from the lack of contextual credibility among the variety of individuals making up the most consistent part of the player base... the fact that people have chosen to extort the general "acceptance" of cheating and multiple account abuses for the entire time the game has been available to the "west" is the root of many more potential problems for the workers behind the scenes, problems which are likely causing discrepancy among regions with different laws governing privacy and freedoms etc... ive chosen a stance against the abuse of the developers, and have observed what could be called the "line" between endgame and startgame players. that is to say: i choose not to associate with accounts that may potentiate abuse of development strategies, in favor of my sanity and personal freedom to enjoy the entire game despite the potential of reduced credibility as an "endgame" player by remaining comfortably as a Solo-player. so ive seen a few of the arguments play out which favor the cheating with macros and automation hacks, and more defensible ease-of-play stances; and im cautious of being perceived as an "unfriendly", but it gets really depressing to see abuses getting glorified and normalized... i say not the gold, but the lack of potential growth paths for solo-players that want to retain freedom from potential abuse and harassment methods from a game that is generally considered "competitive" is the biggest issue thanks for your sincerity
  6. it would be nice if there were relevant avenues of transformation for very outdated items like blackstone, silverscale, and even older stuff like moonwater tears, mountains dew, cinderlands thorns, infernal lords horns, there are more to mention in this regard and maybe the Premium tab is not the appropriate venue for exploring the breadth of potentials there; mentioning it here and now could be a start i can hope… everyone has great ideas for this, and i hope to reinforce the caution to not make things too expensive for the capabilities of a single character because over the years they have heavily enforced that playstyle over the alternative due to the extreme gap in power level and recruit-ability, sociability, competitive edge and everything else; in spite of the fact that it is incredibly thrilling to be able to learn to transition from one class to another on the fly thanks
  7. what i like about trove is the act of comparing values and noticing the frequency of the relative options, its too bad i had such luck with my experience this time; thanks for contributing ideas towards improvement
  8. i think they missed the mark in terms of changing the trove for better, mainly due to the lack of change on the overall approach of making things available, people have different reasons for paying the game but they generally land in either pay for power or pay for appearance, so in this regard the trove lacked appropriate change, for example out of 100 keys i only received 2 opportunities for acquiring the new cosmetic options an example of the change that i believe was desired among the majority of people giving feedback regarding trove would be: out of 100 keys seeing closer to 50 opportunities for cosmetics because the trap would still be there in the sense that you only get to choose one item from any key; if the cosmetics were more abundant and spread out, instead of seeing that one key with a choice between each piece of one cosmetic set and never getting an opportunity to acquire the rest of the set, you could have one cosmetic item per key, and maybe you would see the rest of the items in the cosmetic sets among the rest of your keys big-time thumbs-down 😞 what was good though,,, hmm nothing memorable right now
  9. they sent week 1 rewards this week when they meant to send week 2 rewards? did anyone get the week 2 rewards today yet? the crystals are different between week 1 and week 2 and the pet chest and wonder chest correspond to week 1 and 2 respectively as well edit: i see the timeline of this thread now, seems this question is the current conundrum
  10. this game isnt going any where, cool your rockets, this game really shouldnt be compared to its "genre" genres are inherently corrupt because it would be stupid to try and reproduce the same **** in different colors or whatever distinctions are required to delineate between items clumped into any given genre... i wonder why people are so ready predict the end, could be a lot of reasons, but a game like this** is important to the progress of the world. i hope you all get to make art with your lives outside of nay-saying and destructivism, and i hope you feel brave enough to share it with the universe even if the scope has to be limited to what you can trust **currently there are no comparable games with my said consideration: this game is far and above beyond comparison
  11. there was a time when there were outfits regularly included but they were super expensive as usual and there was no sense for the possibility of recurrence on any given item that one couldnt quite afford that day, or what could be expected on later days outside of cosmetics i always cringe at any developer's nudges towards pay-to-win systems, and as a PC game pay-to-win is apparently impossible to corral, however i believe this is only due to a lack of creativity and inspiration towards the better alternative of decreased vertical progression in favor of broader mutually exclusive directions for manifestations of progress and reward. the base game here is perfect building this system into but it has been so many years with no sign of actualization and it has really hurt the impressionability of the game as a quick fun dive worth returning to. itd be good to add things that are obviously a good deal like buying demonsbane challenge token or chaos emblem for something like 1:2 hmcoin masters sanctum charm boxes for like 1:30 and moontide blossom, blightwood berry, lunar stone, arachne root, hongmoon remedy, skill achievement collection items for like 1:100 and rare elements for 33:15hmcoin using the limit purchase quantity feature can range from making the deal feel special to making it inconsiderable if the full value cant be accessed in whole; and with the price scaling per quantity added in you could monitor how people vote with their funds on what a thing's true value is at any given moment which is in any avenue of capitalist life of the utmost importance... might as well ask for the skystealer accessory selection boxes if its going to stay as bad as it is in terms of acquiring them as well as the latest raid weapon upgrade piece and the latest soul&mystic badges and practically free sacred vials and sterling scales and pet packs ya'know thanks for asking, and everyone with their pieces too

  14. i tried my 14 characters and none passed this bug :{ i do my best to keep up with all the content on all of them (in so far as my schedule allows weighed against the potential rewards and other variability factors) some said the outfit from last event, some said the previous iron conqueror rankings, i kinda doubt its anything with celestial basin i dont know if i did any of celestial basin with dual blades, it is possible i dont remember it, although i think story quest or some quest letter provided peaches during the climb. i feel like i could figure it out but i dont have the info to at the moment.
  15. something ive seen thats less clear is stuff like assassin counter only does timestitcher rarely while any of the timestitcher block just soak hits and reduce skill cd to near nothing and i think kfm counter even procs timestitcher multiple times not that assassin could have possible improvement to its counter, maybe it could, but perhaps there could be better insignias all around? insignia is a good system for the most part if you ignore the very likely potential for the pay to win to glare through

" -if the only permanent convention of trove is the GUI exactly as it has been in all system respects i think you could make stranger exchanges possible, does it always have to be priced in Gold??? -add the things that have definitive value for the longest term future for your game... "If you can be specific about quantities, it'll help." -one example might be the experience charms, when they couldnt be fast clicked to consume they were actually worth more because having something stack up is a long term goal. i wouldnt pay 2 silver for a 100,000 exp charm now -larger quantities are exciting because when theres just a few kinds of smaller quantities they are more clearly important "In general, what reduces the appeal of the Treasure Trove to you," -the notion that money can only be used for one thing "and what would improve it?" -getting consistent access i hope to answer more questions if they can be considered helpful in realizing the good and sorting out whats made it bad
  17. i want to apologize for my harsh language in my past i really want to try my best at communicating clearly and effectively as actively and frequently as possible but i make mistakes and realize far past the repercussions at times im about to re- read the whole topic thread and decide on a few more points
  18. the game has never been more pay to win, sure it involves playing more heavily because wealth inequality hasent beat time requirements entirely even though it still sticks out like a sore thumb the game economy is so trashed from all these years of neglect bolstered by the promise of continued updates new content and systems, unfortunately each new content and system has made it geometrically more and more pay to win im surprised itd get asked on forums what to comment on about trove and other pay to play systems because the game has logs and all the data is there for the devs to unpack already... trove to me was interesting the first two times it was available, i could divulge exploratory money then and thought id get a sense for the system’s integrity and philosophy, and i did get at least one outfit anytime i spent my life for the game experience; paying money(life) for gear/game exp. is a trashed system. every trove i participated in pay to play or free to play i would open the page(s) and always be disappointed. why did i continue? outfits. a lot of time i dont pick anything because the pages are so badly composed. whats worse is that the whole system is so convoluted that its plainly not worth talking about how trashed it is. ya i feel pretty sad that we’re asked to talk about it when they have the data all to themselves, as if theyre asking us here if their bad results in the data are real. like the astronomically low “chances”, the unrealistic prices in gold, and far gone base buy in price for a junk system where theres practically no guarantee what youre using your life to buy my advice if you want to change it but not really change it after getting forum feedback and if youre honestly going to ignore all the data you already have on it... would be: give free the 6 expansion needed to actually participate, and the give free up to at least 300 keys to everyone each time. items available in it have been so irrelevant, but thats also because the entire economy of the game is clearly just a joke, they couldve made so many brilliant and creative affects for the game items that get washed over by time but thats clearly not an idea otherwise the game wouldnt be so disrespected like no one working for nc has played it and certainly not recently like all the call to arms and soulboots that just weigh down the climbers because they cant upgrade until they run that content for four months and by then therell be wispers of not upgrading because itll all just go to waste with whatever new content is on the next. it has been unimaginably frustrating like this for all these years and yet somehow enough of the core game is still intact that its obviously the only actual game, but weighed down still by the crumby community of cheaters gatekeepers oblivious developers and absent minded quality control
  19. parry is often a .5 second window exception storm astro and fire fm, and results in stun in most(all?) cases block is always frontal as well as counter. block tends to be a longer window than counter. counter activates something usually, block is simple damage prevention from that direction. im guessing this is on topic due to the recent insignia system, so ill post some recommendations on that system. dont guild any and certainly dont try fuse. just save them up and grow HM level
  20. i just want to put on the record that being so deterministic is really bad for your health and mentality, furthermore: when i referenced past technical problems and then the consequences of cheating, 1 i dont have problems ever, back when i was using a really old comp in the first year or two i had GPU trouble that maybe caused one problem i had to simply try again before another period of relatively flawless gameplay before the gpu quit; and 2 the referred consequences are the way cheating kills your perspective, like if you pirate digital media youll never come to terms with the actual value of what you stole and from the system of reciprocal feedback for the developers, artists, and everyone else involved in the payroll which is more valuable than the monetary debt, money is a crutch true but since its still here it should never be divorced from the system that is all these artists have to support their well being. arts will always be more about the love than about the capitalistic potentials, but if these thieves and corruptors continue bypassing components that are crucial to the system, the system has to adapt and that adaptation scars the art-form in a horrific and permanent manner, which draws power from the system away from natural growth, and before long the original idea of natural growth is contorted by all these tertiary aspects to support the core of the system which shouldnt have been necessary in the first place. those beings corrupting and thieving will have to stop, itd just be better for everyone involved if they made the realization for themselves before its too late, and its true there are multiple tiers to being “too late” so even if you fatalistically think hopelessness, let me remind you that making better choices does have immediate returns.
  21. not like i havent been around for a while but it will never settle well with me how cruel some individuals allow themselves to come across... looking for better reality is what lead me to embark on my journeys with this environment and while i still think it offers the best, it clearly has its dampers reducing the atmosphere of fun with a list of borderline agreeable discontentments, if only it were less emotionally charged during presentation, this player commune i observe here tends to disregard advisable choices in the betterment of their community, nevertheless this player remains stalwart and risks it all to appear distinguished from the depraved... I will hold fondly in my heart every moment we shared over the cause, and beyond. and i think anyone reading this far cannot deny their willingness for a fulfilled future, and to that we all go together
  22. the level of absurdism here is too far past any resemblance of humor... using 3rd party programs to enhance your ability to win is cheating and theyll have to do something about That before shutting anything down, and since people have already dumped in far more money than necessary, they get to sit back and develop long term plans while their costs are still low. Sure its economic to leverage your income streams; what income streams do those 3rd party cheater-tools developers leverage? hmm? stolen accounts? cheating is the wrong road kids, ive been down it before, quit cheating before you lose it all. tho I suppose theres probably a fatalistic sensibility among us: that should make me sad... but ive never had problems that werent quickly resolved by simply trying again with anything in this game or its default launcher. A lot of time the cheats in game from other players are obvious to my experienced eye, but I can only assume they make attempts at disguise. maybe itd even be safe for me to assume the only reason ive ever had hiccup from the default programing is some cheated exploit trying to hinder my apparent “resolve”...
  23. you must use text literally, there is no purpose other than degrading the conversation using wacky “expressions” so you quit practicing B&S but you still lurk on the website’s forums? is that like a hobby? maybe you work for some “competing” company and are sewing dissent...? what really is your purpose for opposing the terms of service for the video game on topic here? “Investment”?! do not you know, money spent is money gone. there is no context for “investment” here. it takes some practice to miss-quote people to bolster flaccid argumentative defenses, but you did it: you mocked my comment about how i actually empathize for the people that ruined their perspective on what is part of the game by violating possible vulnerabilities using extra programming not part of the game. Even though i empathize for them, theres really nothing i can do for them until they clean up their act. ill be waiting to run content with them if they redeem themselves from their loss, but it is not a healthy environment for the player base to be split between legitimate players and rule breakers with a contorted perspective of what is part of the game.
  24. programs are not “spit and glue” you have to use what the developer makes available for public use otherwise you might as well get permanently banned because they already drew the line, you agree to it when you start the game. 99% of the “90%” you keep mentioning will follow the rules once the judgement is made. There will never be any competitor to Blade & Soul. if there are features that are worth asking for and worth implementing, the developers will add them in when they get a chance, otherwise its too bad you ruined your perspective on what is part of the game. Humble yourself before you get it done to you.
  25. the NC launcher works just use that. perma-ban any account that has logged in from anything else. how about that. then finally you can submit requests/ideas from a legitimate account for how they could improve their ToS compliant launcher. let them start over from scratch, gear doesnt matter anyway. Devs continue raising the high and low bars; its about enjoying what they make available to their players and not taking advantage of vulnerabilities like latent rapists.
