  1. Still getting higher ms than fps, still waiting on some answers.
  2. @NightFer I live in North America where 98% of people only have access to one or two ISPs and they're all terrible, and I haven't played with anyone that has a good ping. VPNs almost never help anyone lower their ms. I started playing KR BnS years before it finally came to NA, and I have a degree in computer science thank you very much ( albeit networking was not my concentration and I hate it). And what do you mean "Dont bother poking the forum admins/mods, none of them is going to answer you" What do you think they're here for?
  3. @MassiveEgo What do you mean? It does lol. I face away from people 120fps I turn around so someone is on my screen bam - 100 fps -_- This is BnS I've thrown logic out the window because it clearly has no place here lmao. It might not be BnS's fault at all I just want to know why we can't play the game with others without losing 99.874% of our fps and ms. I do remember when it launched for NA I couldn't hardly play the game at all. It would take 20 minutes to launch and then after waiting through the login queue I'd get in to have 1 fps and 9000 ms. Turns out at that time it was due to some software that I had installed on my PC that came with my new Asus Hero VII motherboard at the time. Iirc it was "Gamefirst 3". After I removed every trace of that from my system I was magically back up to max fps and a nice ms under 50 that never had spikes. Until MSP released then everything went to ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤. During the first few weeks that MSP was a thing I would get this random crashes followed by a pop up saying my GPU kernal had crashed. Contacted EVGA and they said to run my GPU in debug mode because "it was tuned too high for the game I was trying to play" so I turned on debug mode and never had a GPU crash again while playing BnS (It also happened to get rid of a lot of the random lag I was experiencing at the time). My point is that it could be something software related that has a conflict with BnS, it could be the servers, it would be windows 10, it could be the games optimization, Or anything else at this point I don't even have a clue. BUT SOMEBODY AT BNS KNOWS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING and they aren't telling us ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤. I shouldn't have these problems with my last system running a 4790k at 4.5-4.8 and running the game on a SATA SSD or my current system with a 9700k at 5.2-5.6 running the game on a M.2 SSD. In fact the only thing that changed between the two completely separate PCs was my new one gets on average about 5 more fps during raids with characters turned off (which puts me on the first boss of ET for example at about 17-23 fps and it peaks at 36 fps while never being consistent in the least) Literally nothing from BnS buddy helps anything at all. None of the 20 support tickets helped at all on any of my machines, changing ISPs didn't help, having my cables replaced at my house didn't help, nor did spending $500 on a new router and modem. And a side note. I didn't expect the game to run any better when I built my most recent PC but of course I was hopeful. @Bronn @Hime @Amraith @Aurinya @Youmukon @Cyan @PhoenixMitra @Baskerville @whippleshuffle @Sunshine @Onirique @EmperorLeto Somebody? Anybody? Help?
  4. @Deadly Intent I'm sure they won't say anything. But I'll continue to ping them at least once a week on this thread till they at least acknowledge that they saw the post -_-
  5. @Backstabpuss okay, then can you explain why A:ir doesn't have the "game optimization" problems in both KR and TW while the only difference being the servers? Those "fixes" you speak of don't actually work. I'm sick of people saying "oh try this fix it helps" when in reality it doesn't do anything if you're playing on a PC that doesn't have the specs of a potato. " in multiplayer games, the decoding and coding of the information is performed by the server of the game which is not related on any way to your CPU , the frame drops that we found on multiplayer games are actually "lagged inputs/ outputs" from the server " Yeah that makes more sense to me than "the game isn't optimized properly" because they game USED TO RUN JUST FINE but now it magically doesn't? This is why I'm trying to get an answer from someone that should actually have them like someone that works for NC Soft or even better BnS. I'm not saying this or that is the reason the game runs like ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I'm saying we deserve answers more than just the communities best guesses.
  6. @Baskerville @Amraith @Sunshine @PhoenixMitra @Cyan I don't know who else I can @, but anyone that knows something or can find us some official response to the most important problem in this game feel free to chime in at any time...
  7. I've tried literally everything you can find on the internet and everything I could think of on four very different PCs over the last 2 years. The thing I'm getting at though is there is clearly a problem which everyone here seems to acknowledge. And it's being completely ignored by NCSoft. The very least they could do is publicly say "We know the game runs like trash" and tell us what the cause is and if we can ever expect a fix for it. I don't even care about content or trove or anything else anymore because the game runs so bad I can't enjoy anything I get. If I didn't think my raid group needed me I'd have already quit.
  8. @Grimoir The only difference in our build is I have a 9700k lol there's no way you run great while mine runs like trash
  9. @Fiana I've tried every "fix" you can find on youtube, BnS buddy, discords, reddit, and google. It doesn't help. Probably because my rig like most others built in the last 10 years are more than enough for this games requirements. @Grimoir What are your specs? You're one of about two people I've ever seen say "I literally have no performance issues on my rig" . No one I've ever played with in the last two years has got a stable 60+ fps or sub 70 ms (in game ms) and one of them was on a $5000 rig. "games rely more on the discrete GPU for the rendering of the images and calculations for the game , in multiplayer games, the decoding and coding of the information is performed by the server of the game which is not related on any way to your CPU , the frame drops that we found on multiplayer games are actually "lagged inputs/ outputs" from the server " -Intel guy This would explain why I get 120 fps while alone but the second I see another player BAM -90 fps. And the fact that A;IR runs great in TW but like trash in KR with the only difference being the servers makes me more convinced.
  10. Back in the day (like on launch) BnS ran great. I don't recall everyone having issues with getting 2 fps in a fight and 180-400+ ms until MSP was released. Ever since that day it's been hell. Why don't we see any mention of this in patch notes or announcements or anything? Here's a funny story. A few months ago while in a clan 6v6 my PC LITERALLY caught on fire. RMA'd the EVGA 970 that was the cause and waited 6 weeks to get a new one. Four whole days later it died. Before the fire the game ran terribly and after replacing the GPU with a 2070 ... surprise! still runs like ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤. I expected that though because it's an MMO so the CPU is doing most of the work. So I just built a whole new PC with a i7 9700k at 5.4GHz, STRIX 2070, 32gb of ram, and the game and OS are on a Samsung m.2. Game STILL runs like ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤. (Still expected that though) Then I had an interesting conversation with an Intel engineer. This guy tells me the reason BnS has these FPS and ms problems is because they're using poor servers, and nothing we can do is going to help. Then I hear that new A;iR game ran like crap just like BnS BUT the new TW version runs FAR better and it's because of the servers. Maybe Intel guy was on to something... Can we get some information on this? Is the reason this game runs so bad that it's almost unplayable really because somebody is too cheap to give us proper servers? And were they downgraded at some point with no mention of it in patch notes?
  11. It's far too difficult to find a decent tank. If you don't have a tank most dungeons are going to be miserable or even impossible. Not only is it so hard to find a tank, but in most cases they can't even hold threat. I feel like I'm punished when I want to play my GS instead of my BM because I end up having to tank on GS... Not fun. I like gearing up but the more gear I get on my dps classes the more often I have to tank on them... From my experience as a BM main( that recently has been playing more GS) I can say from experience tanking just isn't fun or rewarding on almost every boss. Bosses (AND TRASH MOBS) CC melee far too much where ranged rarely have to do anything. Would being really good at fighting every boss and mob in the game mean you have no issue dodging every attack, knock back, knock up, knock down, stun, daze, grab, and pin? Yes. Are the majority of BMs and KFMs you find in f8 going to be very good? No, no they're not. Make tanking more enjoyable so more people want to do it. Give the one with aggro cc immune Give tanks more threat Give them more dps Extra rewards Hell, add a new super awesome high damage TANK class to the game ( I'd personally reroll to a class with a greatsword and happily tank everything if it was available)
