  1. Keep sending them. Keep being annoying about it. I don't really interact with this community anymore (I still play the game daily though) but when I used to, people would just give up and not do anything and not come on the forums and talk about it. So I assumed this is still the case. I keep hearing here and there that some tickets had been sent but as that can be a game of telephone with no source, it's why I said people should send them. This is what the company is PAID to do. They're paid to keep the server running and bug free and if the job is not being done for months, it's completely justified to keep sending in tickets if it's not fixed. No official communication has been given regarding the system being broken this long, so I do consider it as the job not being done. Proper communication is something they are also not doing.
  2. This made me chuckle. lol Too real. I do wonder how NC America plans to ever run the Neo server when the main server is barely functional and severely outdated in terms of basic game functions like the daily dash giving ANTIQUED items. On top of them still trying to sell outdated or overpriced materials in the store when they do bundles, like the pet gem bundles containing tiers so old, that not even the free options in the game give those tiers out anymore. They're perfectly capable of "updating" the game to nerf HM Coin amounts of places like Sanctum and "updating" to give less HM Coin to the 3rd place in ranking in comparison to ranks 4-6. lol But when players ask for old outfits to return via updates in F10 so they can buy them, it's all crickets here. And returning players that magically forgot they're dealing with NC are going to get a "nice" surprise in the future playing Neo or if they come back to play the retail server. Personally, I think the relics in North America are broken on purpose and the company does not like dealing with the Western region because of certain "self inflicted issues" this region has created. But NC should take responsibility for it instead of this immature lack of care, which I personally find as immature as the players creating the "issues". There is a long history of this company punishing the entire player base instead of case by case basis when issues arise. We'll see if it goes 3 months being broken by next week!
  3. It will be two whole months that the Relic system is not working for the North America region. The system is not working since the following patch. https://www.bladeandsoul.com/en-us/news/article/11580/sanguine-abyss-full-patch-notes-october-2023 With the introduction of Sanguine Abyss, the dungeon is meant to be cleared, under normal game play, using the new Relic system and the stats gained from it. While the system is working fine for European region, it's completely broken for North America and we need a fix ASAP. This really needs priority. You introduced a dungeon that doesn't have a vital corresponding system working. This is equivalent to if insignias suddenly become unusable; it's an integral part of the game now. The bug consists of the relics not being stored properly in the relic management window. When you put in a relic into the relic storage, it completely disappears and cannot be slotted into the system. Players are missing vital stats from this system not working. Players are able to get relic jars and open them but cannot use the relics. I suggest North American players also put in support tickets regarding this. It's really not acceptable that this isn't fixed yet and almost as unacceptable as the marketplace being down a three weeks some patches ago. Integral parts of a live service game should not be broken weeks or months with silence from the ones managing this region.
  4. Took me a bit to find it but these exact same outfits are recycled time and time again; take a look at the page below. I also had an ancient outfit pouch in my Received Items vault with these exact outfits but I can't remember the name and I just happened to use it recently for a new character I made. It may have come from a Prime Gaming code. That was sitting in my vault for a over a year, though. Our Western region has limited and predetermined sets of outfits they keep lazily swapping in (for events and for F10 outfit rotation, when that was even still a thing). It's sad that even though the game is being handled directly by Korea now, we still can't get updated outfit sets that they can manually program in. They can only blame themselves here for the outdated state of the game and in this case, a summer event that doesn't make sense. I saw that they removed Skystealer Crystals from the Dragon Express but kept it in the Daily Dash. lol That also doesn't make sense, NCSoft. This is bad value for Premium Members to keep getting outdated items. https://www.bladeandsoul.com/en-us/news/article/5038/hongmoon-resurgence-event-preview
  5. The outfit in the RNG box that can be bought with tokens has a really bad texture bug for male Lyn and to an extend, male Jin. It's incredibly noticeable on Lyn and the Jin has some weird shading going on, though not as terrible looking. The outfit looks completely fine for Gon male. It may even be a shader issue though I'm unsure in this case if it's that or a mishap with one of the texture files themselves. There is also weird white nails for Lyn male, which looks like an issue with how the body shine is displaying with this outfit. These are paid outfits so I think better quality control is needed before releasing them. I have no problems buying the outfits for my characters to support the game but these are a skip until they are properly fixed before the RNG box goes away or perhaps in a future re-release. I can only buy it for my male Gon, basically. This is a really nice 3 piece outfit too but I won't pay money for something clearly bugged. Lyn male Jin male Gon male (outfit displays correctly)
  6. More players need to start taking it up with the Better Business Bureau. This is an underrated course of action that many people do not realize they are able to do. If you look at their current BBB page, there is a recent player on there from January that seems to have reached an amicable solution after NCSoft wrongfully terminated his account. For sure they didn't give him a refund as NC does not give refunds per their ToS; it appears his account was restored. There's "certain" people that insist the BBB is ineffective. This is false. You are even able to get back your account through there. The BBB complaints are public, unlike other ways to get NC to fix things which nobody gets to see. It's a permanent smear on them for 3 whole years, as those are how long the complaints are published for. Bad BR does NOT look good. Do not be afraid to file a complaint and it's easy to do. Keep your complaint on point and professional is my advice, and not so much emotion into the complaint. Plain and simple, if NC doesn't want BBB complaints, then start respecting your players better instead of these anti-consumer measures. From the $600 outfit """blunder""" to the laughable login rewards which are clearly nerfed since last time I played 5 months ago, which makes Premium membership worse without warning.
  7. Christ, I feel like I stepped into Chernobyl when coming into this thread. But OP, I want to ask you and possibly help you. What is your goal in the game? You have to make a reasonable goal for yourself. You stated that farming lower floors gets you very little progress. Yes, this is true. But I want to also let you know that farming something like floor 16 also yields kinda not a lot... It takes a very long time. You get 5 guaranteed tickets for spinning the wheel but the loot from the wheel is RNG, so you can get something totally worthless. As an example, my gildstone here that is absolutely necessary to clear higher floors took farming from the start of the release of the dungeon (October 2022) to sometime mid November. That's around the time I stopped playing again. And it's not even maxed either. (As you can see, I keep failing it. Yay) Our team started farming stage 16 of Nexus on week 1. And this is just my one gildstone; my other accessories and gildstone aren't maxed either. It takes hours upon hours; I was playing 12 hours at some days. The game isn't designed to allow people to get very high gear by farming lower levels. I will also let you know the rewards for clearing higher floors aren't actually all that good. It's just more crap to dump into RNG mechanics. All those 120 pet pods I received? It didn't even up my pet once. lol Do you actually WANT that? I feel maybe this reality isn't known to those that yearn for that high gear. And this is the current state of the game. It's not all paradise and a lot of people are not mentioning this, for some reason. Just that it's "hard work". How about showing OP what it actually takes so they can decide if that is the path they actually want. You should forget about "advanced players" and getting into their groups. Some are in a completely different planet, as may be evident by some replies in this thread. You need to find people that are like you and you need to work upwards at what you reasonably can accomplish. You are not going to get high gear playing one hour a day, even if you somehow find a carry group. Find a kinship in people who are like you. It's what I had to do and I'm not saying it's gonna happen overnight. You need to pick quality over strength. Why go into a group that is going to talk down on you, even if they have better gear? The best players I've met in this game had humble gear and even if I had higher gear, I always wanted to run with them because they were good company and if screw up happens, everyone is a lot more patient. It's not really your fault either. No amount of mechanics will keep you from hitting an enrage timer if your gear is ping ponging back and forth because you fail upgrades with what little resources you do get. As far as a solution goes that doesn't involve finding like minded players, I think the rng that has been thrown into the game has been detrimental to every player's progress and I've been saying for a while they need to cut back on it (for the Western region of all places) and give the player a straight path to work towards. The dangling carrot method is quite bitter.
  8. ...That is literally what I said before in my first post but worded differently. lol So I'm not sure how I was "all wrong" about the way the game works for the West when you pointed out the exact same possibility, given how repeated the sales are. It all points that it's being copy and pasted but anyway. One thing I WAS wrong about was putting the entire blame on NCWest. We have already known for years, from previous statements from past community managers, that their main patches get sent from Korea. It is compiled there. So I retract that; I am well aware they have their hands tied in certain aspects. But to say no actual developer is at their Western branch is not really correct either because they constantly announce on their Twitter that their "developers" are working on getting the game back up and running properly when it malfunctions. Unless that wording is wrong. I do really believe the game needs less "copy and paste" (specially with their Support Team. That is actually an NCWest problem) and a little more real human touch, specially when potential money is involved and I really hope that this sort of feedback is known to Korea as well. Look at a game like Fortnite, making absolute billions just selling skins. BnS has a lot of outfits and even though some are very old and not tailorable, they should be available to the player because you don't want to take options away when they are already natively in the game. Which is also why I have gone ahead and even included the internal IDs of outfits I requested in the pinned outfit request post by Green Storm. Give that to Korea and they have no excuse to not give you the outfits requested unless that manual work doesn't get done by them. Nothing you can do about it them. Honestly, at least bring back the bi-weekly outfit rotation. This keeps players at the very least checking into the game every two weeks. That would be great for player retention. Also for Green Storm, please don't forget that the West still doesn't have the Demonsbane dungeon outfits available; these are available in almost every region (I'm unsure of RU) and they literally come with the dungeons. Like those first ones in the post below. Even Aerodrome is phased out of F8 (with the dungeon being released over a year ago), that outfit is still missing. I just really don't think there is much justification for this dungeon content to be missing and I'm not going to point fingers but maybe whoever is compiling the patches should put these in because it's way overdue and clearly an oversight. https://forums.bladeandsoul.com/topic/254026-outfitshairs-that-bs-euna-miss/
  9. Would it actually help you guys if we include the costume IDs? These are actually not hard to get or involve outside methods. Your own webpage that hosts the F2 information is available online. http://na-bns.ncsoft.com/ingame/bs/character/profile?c=CharacterName Replace the na with eu if applicable and "Character Name" with the name of a character that actually owns the outfit, inspect element on the outfit field, and you will get something like costume_00000_jinM, etc. That number corresponds to the way the costume is referred to internally. If you team up with friends that own outfits you want, you can easily get the identifier and it's a universal between all regions. The numbers don't change. Here I come again asking for: Name: Hongmoon Ascension - ID 0013 Category: Costume Release Method: Free gift sent via a newsletter during the Awakening update to BnS; Edit: I know it was free but don't mind paying for it Last Available: ~4 years ago? (When Awakening happened) Name: Dragon Knight, Dragon Knight Helmet, Dragon Knight Cape- IDs 10224, 040392, 090200 Category: Costume (It's a bundle) Release Method: F10 Direct Purchase Bundle Last Available: 2 years ago Name: Dragon Shroud Illusion Weapon (ID method doesn't work for Illusion weapons) Category: Weapon Ilusion Release Method: Unsure because I wasn't playing during this time Last Available: +3 years ago, since I've been active this long after a break and never saw it
  10. Fair. I believe you and trust that you all can navigate the files. But this statement I made was in relation to a statement further down, in which I brought up the exact same copy-pasted outfits every time in the regular F10 rotation. Like the ones before the Christmas outfits were put in. This has to do with the game's files. Korea is able to compile an entire newer outfit bundle to be sold in F10 so I think the West should be able to do this as well but also for older outfits. It's something I also noticed with the Thanksgiving sale, in which there was an outfit there that has already been previously available in recent times and that nobody actually asked for. To me, it just pointed to pre-made packs with files in them and if this is actually the case, a better way would be to manually dig in to grab outfits the community wants or even those that are forgotten and you can just throw them in along with 2 popular outfits with each F10 rotation. Of course, I don't work for you guys but it's also not top secret knowledge how Unreal Engine 4 games' files work and are compiled into Paks.
  11. My two cents on this ongoing issue: The problem is whatever the staff at NCWest seem to be doing with the game files. If this upsets some people, I will link you to a page on the Korean website and encourage you to take a look. https://bnsnshop.plaync.com/bns/goods/detail?dgi=413976 The shop is selling an outfit for a flat fee, bundled with Premium. This same outfit was instead put into Trove for our region. The Western community has been asking for ages to just sell older outfits in F10 for a flat fee and keep rotating them. I think NCWest really has to understand that the majority of players nowadays are very casual; Korea may be different but the West is mostly casual. This is evident by the lack of players interested in clearing the highest floors in ranking. I have gotten to those floors and you do have to enslave yourself to the game to get there. Most people do not wish to this in the West and it's very evident from interacting with the remaining active community in places other than these forums. You know you can push the Battle Pass, Trove, and whatever else ALONGSIDE a proper costume rotation? This will greatly make your remaining player base happy. (The last outfits given with the Prime Bundle were very lovely, so I will give credit where it's due. You need to harvest more of these older outfits into the F10 rotation. I'm waiting 3+ years already for a re-run of the Hongmoon Ascension outfit.) So what is keeping them from doing appropriate outfit rotations? It is the bare minimum in my opinion. But do you guys not understand how to use the tools for doing this properly? I bring this up because I notice the regular non-RNG methods outfit rotations are always including the exact same outfits. This leads me to believe you just have someone copy pasting the same preset script over and over into the store, without knowing how to change it. Certain people that play this game do a better job at providing the community the outfits that they want than whoever is running the F10 outfit rotations. All I'm gonna say. Most people would rather own these outfits themselves and they will pay money for them.
  12. Right off the bat, I will let you know the game is not optimized to run at 4k at all. However, I will say it looks gorgeous and crisp and great for screenshots. I switch between 4k and QHD, most commonly known as "2k". There is a significant dip in performance when going into battle at 4k, so I just play at 2k. Here are my PC specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Zombwrlck/saved/#view=p4bJyc Aside from my CPU (thanks to scalpers I couldn't get what I actually wanted, so settled with the Ryzen 9 3950x), I don't think my computer needs to be upgraded anymore unless I was going to get 120gb of RAM, which is absolutely unnecessary for anything I'm doing. Now there are new GPU lines but I still don't feel the need to upgrade. The 6900xt is a beast that can handles anything I throw at it even in 4k... except BnS. 🤣 If you are going to upgrade your computer, do not do it with this game in mind. Because it will always disappoint no matter what. My computer is the way it is because I do a lot of casual 3D work and I'm always playing newer games as well. I have several screenshots of recent floor clears our team did, so you can see what can be expected. I'm playing the game at 2k res. These are stream vods, so the quality isn't as good as if I had been capturing directly or taken an actual in-game screenshot but you can see the framerate. My in-game settings are all at 5 except for other players effects, which I will keep at 1 or 3 if the floor we are doing has a buff that spawns on other players that needs to be seen at all times. The settings at 1 hides that effect, so you are forced to play with settings set to at least 3. It is impossible to play the game with other players effects set to 5 even with my computer. Having shadows on in certain dungeons is very detrimental to performance as well. An example of this is the Aerodrome dummies room, where the game just runs horrendously if you have shadows on but then settles down once you get out of that room. I'll use the newest dungeon, Grim Nexus, for my examples since this is what's currently relevant to the game and what players are actually running. The game always runs really bad during trash mob pulls. An example in Nexus here, you can get some 20 FPS when all mobs are getting hit at once. Game actually COMPLETELY froze here as well. My other teammates experienced the same game freeze, too. It isn't all bad. During burst, I'm getting around 40 FPS. You can see how much is going on. By no means what it should be given my specs but it's playable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ During actual combat and even with all these effects on the screen during phases, I'm still getting 40-50 FPS. It's smooth to play in. During no phases, I get as high as 55, so this is basically the best you are going to get in battle imo. Also to keep in mind is that I'm streaming during this as well with OBS and that also is hogging my resources but I don't feel any difference between when I stream and play normally. I'm sure I can get better performance by playing in lower resolution, too. But it's annoying to keep switching resolution between games that I play so I just leave it as is plus you asked about 4k. I don't have 4k footage but it does run significantly worse for sure when I did use to play at that resolution. Expect a 10-20 FPS loss or more in 4k. Game just isn't made to run at that resolution. I will say the game looks great when you can actually play with almost everything maxed and I think it's good eye candy for viewers when streaming compared to other MMOs. I'm sure this may be disappointing to you but just wanted to give an honest testimonial about the performance of the game with high specs.
  13. Echoing some already in this thread, please bring back some outfit bundles (maybe single outfits too?!) and old weapon skins that have been gone for years. What I have been waiting on: Outfit Bundles Dragon Knight Olympian Shadow Shinobi Single Outfits Hongmoon Ascension Rhapsody Weapon Skins Dragon Shroud Illusion Weapon Special Training Illusion Weapon
  14. I personally don't mind if the developers now intend players to arena pvp for Soulstones but an official answer would be welcomed, whether the Western community receives it positive or negatively. They just removed SSP and left the player base in the dark about where to now get Soulstones and Moonstones. If this is indeed the new way, then we need players to start queuing up for Arena during peak times but again, I think people need an official answer here on the forums since this is the main way the West team communicates to the player base. Edit: Also, they do still have to add a new way to get the final tier of Unity stones. The ones that used to require ethereal vials and the faction tokens from SSP, so I also wanted to highlight that issue.
  15. I have seen brief talk of this issue across some threads but I really think it deserves its own thread and I'm surprised nobody has made it yet. Green Storm and the game team should really prioritize this problem. The gold income was fixed but now two necessary materials are scarce without an alternative way to farm them. Since the Musician patch, Soulstone Plains is no longer available and there isn't anymore mining from the NPCs. Since this area is now gone, the game has no real way of farming Soulstones or Moonstones in reasonable quantities. In Korea, SSP was replaced by the Ethereal Battlegrounds, which we are not getting and the battleground area has actually been removed from the Korean version as well as of August. This has left them without a place to farm "SSP products", such as the final tier of Unity stones. I was hoping for an official answer regarding what will be done to allow us to farm Moonstone and Soulstones again. I think SSP was a terrible area since its introduction (it is not really all that interactive or fun) and last time I was there, was earlier this year when I had to farm for my Ascension unity stones. It was deserted a lot but also had the typical bad actor trolling legitimately active players trying to farm. What I mean by trolling isn't PvP either. They were flat out using "what we are not allowed to discuss" to run into players and then run off to the base in a matter of seconds. So I think the area should stay dead but you can't just flat out remove it without an alternative. I would also want to know if there IS an alternative the developers intended when removing SSP, such as maybe they want us to do Arena PvP for Soulstones? My friend has attempted to queue for arena but there is nobody doing it. Plus, a total of ~70-90 Soulstones for the box you get at Gold rank isn't really a lot. Since the Arena queue is dead, it would also take a bit to hit Gold and get 2k PvP Beans. Arena also doesn't give Moonstone, only the Battleground box does. I don't personally know anyone queuing for BGs anymore either. I think forcing PvE players to PvP for PvE mats is a terrible idea and always has been, but please do try to give us an answer of how we are supposed to obtain Soulstones and Moonstones now.
  16. Kinda bad English on my part there and what I'm saying is how you put it here. I meant that it's 37 bounds per try OR 35 unbound per try. That screenshot is of my heart so I know it's one or the other as I have upped my other gears like the pet and soul. I'm not gonna blow my sterlings on that monstrocity until they adjust it or maybe they never will. I would surely hope the NCWest team knows what I meant since they put that in the game. (Can't edit it now either)
  17. My honest opinion on Trove is that you should get rid of it and do Fortune's Favor instead of it. It's a lot more consumer friendly (had its issues but Trove is worse), since you know what you're paying for and know what you get at the end of the board. Less rng is always good for west. Never liked Trove because it's a lottery and I rather just be able to see what I'm going to end up with, though I do agree with everyone that it was improved this time around. Some highlights of improvements are the dyad square obsidian/garnet in the 2 stars. Those really help to prep for the new dyad tier although I feel it's way too expensive to achieve so I am debating if I will continue upgrading that particular dyad. At least it's not unironic heptagonals crits anymore. But also on a negative note, you should get rid of the 5 octagonal obsidians in one of the 2 stars too. You cannot even obtain octagonal obsidians anymore because it's such an old tier of gem and also, if you gonna put 5 obsidians, why not put 6 of them so at least people can make 2 whole triangle obsidians? Putting only 5 seems like trolling the player imo. I don't understand why the cherry blossom nameplate/chatbox can't be mailed with outfit stamps. It's a cosmetic so I feel it should be mailable. Lastly, the amount of sacred vials and sterling crystals need to be adjusted to fit the new mythical system. As a reminder, you have made it upgrading a +13 to +14 Zealous heart cost 37 BOUND STERLING SCALE CRYSTAL AND 35 REGULAR STERLING CRYSTAL PER RNG TRY. This is what you guys decided to put in the game (it's insane Blizzard level terrible monetization imo). I think it would be priority to change that amount. You only get 1 single vial/sterling per 2 star crit of vial or sterling and this is just not really acceptable imo. Also, Korea BnS has confirmed that you lose 5 stages of your alternate equipment like the soul once the new tier comes out. Imagine you put spend the down payment of a Lamborghini to +20 your soul and then you lose 5 levels anyway next tier. Bruh. Also, if it's such a issue that 1% of player$$$$ get the strongest soul the next tier if the developers let them keep the +20 and the devs decided they have to knock them down a peg, then maybe this isn't a good system? This is really insanity and I think the mythical system should be looked into for these equipment, since probably 99% of the playerbase cannot partake in upgrading these but hey, to keep on topic... If you are a masochist and want to keep upgrading such a thing, there should be more quantity given of these two materials in Trove. (But really, just delete Trove imo) Edit: Reminder that you cannot even farm sterlings in the game. They're not on the loot tables and can only get them during events.
  18. Veru

    Best patch

Sincerely thank you, Green Storm. You are truly the MVP. 🙏 I've been playing 12+ hours every day now (what is sleep?) when I didn't even log in more than once or twice a week before this patch. I was on my way out because I felt everything rewarding was stripped from the game. Farming so many hours with my group to not get much at all and no gold to even upgrade. I felt the entire player base was being starved of essential resources. Now we are getting way better loot from all modes and hard mode also feels rewarding to do now. Thank you for listening to the player base on the forums and I hope we continue to get needed adjustments to our region once new issues arise. It's been literal years since I felt a drive to play the game that much. I've been telling my friends who left the game that this new patch makes the game feel rewarding and to at least come check it out. A lot of damage has been done to this game for so many years, unfortunately. Gotta get the word out there that positive change is happening. I've seen a lot of people come back this patch. The team just needs to iron out game breaking bugs that inconvenience new and returning players like the inventory expansion asap, though! Overall good to see the game more alive and even on the NA server, I see groups a little later at night than the usual.
  19. Getting +12 (and beyond that) is pain and suffering. Before I switched to the new tier, I had always been sitting at +11. Most people do not bother to go past +11 on the old system since if you fail, it just kicks you down too many levels. The new system is worse imo and extremely expensive but both systems were bad. The heart in particular is an absolute nightmare, requiring 37 sterling per chance for my +13 heart. I will not be touching that until there is some sort of adjustment to that amount of sterling or maybe they want to keep that equipment for Hongmoon Wallet warriors only. This advice I'll give you is assuming you have restoration tokens in your account. What you can do is once you're back at +11 and have enough materials, try for the +12. If you get +12, then you keep going until you fail. Once you do fail once, you file a support ticket for them to revert your heart back to +12 or whatever you ended up with before you failed. You can do that once per equipment and every 6 months when the tokens refresh on your account. So you can't do your heart twice in that 6 months period but, for example, you can ask for them to revert your soul if you get +12 on that and fail.
  20. There are 5 trove keys in the specials but when you hover over them, the option to buy is not there like the other items. Thought you guys want to fix this asap since it's a good deal but nobody can buy it.
  21. The Ethereal Battlegrounds would have never worked in this region to begin with because one of the factions in the two regions is pretty much non-existent. There are very few active players on the other side. I was really wondering how the West team would release this type of content for us given that faction imbalance has always been a huge issue since the launch of the game and it's at its definite worst state in 2022. With the state of the game in the West, some content just can't work for our two regions. That's not to say pvp should be scrapped altogether but specifically faction and clan pvp are the wrong ways to bring it back. I will feel the same way when you may eventually announce the clan pvp raid KR implemented. That's gonna be a crap show for sure if released here. It isn't going to work imo. These are ambitious ideas that the game can't support in its current state. Before you release the Windwalk race, the developers should patch out certain external exploits. You were able to patch out a certain one recently. It's sad our region needs to be babysat like children in comparison to KR but just like cyber security, the game needs active maintenance when new vulnerabilities eventually get released again by the same group of people.
  22. I personally think it would be a good idea for this game to have an official YouTube presence for the West. This game isn't friendly to newcomers because of how bloated it is with confusing systems and the game having no external resources available even via a Google search is REALLY bad. Or most resources are extremely outdated. The game is lucky to have had content creators in the past who made high quality dungeon guides in English but they are all gone now unfortunately. At least their guides can still be used for old dungeons still in rotation. I have heard that these guides by NC Korea usually come out too late for the dungeon but that recently, NC KR did push out the Ebondrake Mutation Lab dungeon guide on time. I gotta be honest, the people who play this game more seriously will already know the mechanics from the guides posted on Discord servers but it is far easier to tell a struggling player in-game to look at the Youtube channel for the guide than try to send them to some Discord that doesn't have a public invitation anywhere. I honestly wouldn't expect a full redone audio for the small player base this game has. You could keep the audio in KR and just do subtitles with a proper translation for the main supported languages if budget is an issue. That is better than nothing. There should really be a new player guide on the main website as part of it, too. Yes, I know there is already one but looking at it, it's sending players to the dead F8 lobby (at least for the NA region) to look for a party. People flat out don't use that here and I see players in faction asking why there is no one in the F8 lobby. I think an updated guide would tell new players about doing the Soul Boost as soon as the story finished. Even if it seems painfully obvious to some of us playing for years, you would be surprised that some newer players have NO idea about the Soul Boost that is literally glowing under the map. I saw someone yesterday at max level that had no idea about the Wardrobe in the game either and was filling their inventory with outfits. Or there should be a stickied guide on the forums that gets updated periodically when there is a major change in the game. There was a new player tips topic but now it got buried. It would still need to be formatted and organized into an official post. I walk around the over world sometimes and have had two fresh players in the past three weeks ask me for help about how anything even works in this game. They had no idea about stuff like Soul Boost even. I saw one of those players in Faircloud yesterday still kicking. Some of these guys just need a little extra help. Over a month ago, I spent like 45 mins explaining various things to a guy. He had no idea he could get weekly oils, scales, and pods. That guy is still playing, too. Some of this stuff is less obvious. The game has WAY TOO MANY redundant currency items. I think BnS is missing a lot of streamlining, extra clarification, and QoL stuff that some of the big MMOs have.
  23. 100% Initially, this game was way more open too but I had heard from an old exploration video of the old server that NC actually closed off a lot of wall climbing areas because players kept falling off the map. Sounds like a skill issue. lol Jokes aside, it's a shame they opted to add so many restrictive invisible walls when the Windwalking is made to seem to significant at the start of the leveling experience. Mounts being added into the game is the way I feel about joke outfits with jeans and sneakers being added into the game. The mounts were supposed to be a CN client thing only, too. That type of player base always has ridiculous things bloating every single one of their games, like stupid wings and mounts. Every character looks like it walked out of a Halloween store. It wasn't surprising that mounts that don't even fit the game in any capacity were shoehorned into that region and it's a shame we are getting this bloat in our client now. If they added it for money, like the OP said, there's better ways to get money and there's outfits in the Mushin Tower's outfit merchant (the one that sells past outfit boxes like Azure Dragon, Dawning Star, etc) that are flat out missing their accessories with no way to get them. With our region, they omit or don't fix things that will flat get them money and instead we get hand me downs from the WORST region, which is the CN region. Watch us get that dreadful CN outfit with crappy dove wings glued to the back that just got released before we even get missing dungeon outfits that look way better and doesn't make you look like a clown.
  24. I've had these Escape Charms since the launch of the game and you can tell I had bought so many, I only have 2 left after six years! These were removed completely and I can't understand why you would do this. I checked all the old merchants because I remember buying them all in the Cinderlands. These were available from almost all merchants before. They were really handy and can only be used in dungeons anyway. I've use these when I was mid dungeon and we forgot to switch the floors if my Escape was on CD or for farming old dungeon outfits. Can you guys put these back? You shouldn't remove harmless things that cause inconveniences to players.
  25. I was really disappointed to learn a few weeks ago that other regions have gotten Maximon's outfit and for some reason, they decide to omit it from ours even though the dungeon is not in Demonsbane anymore. There's people like myself that really love the traditional and lore appropriate outfits. It's a unique thing about BnS I have always loved from the start. I bought all the outfits in the rotation right now and I really liked the Visionary merchant outfit too. I'm honestly quite tired of all the "joke" and "immersion breaking" outfits being put into the game and having the nerve to charge way too much money for stuff that is honestly sub par and uninspired. These are always put in via RNG methods, too. When the game can do nothing but put out joke outfits, then the entire game becomes a joke. I'll give credit where it's due and say that the latest outfits, Nemesis and Arcana (Arcana's emote is still BUGGED. $100 outfit btw!), do fit in with the game and were well done. But I sometimes wonder if I'm playing a martial arts MMO or if I'm actually taking a stroll through the mall seeing people in jeans and sneakers. Very jarring and dreadful. I wouldn't mind so much if there was somehow a balance between the joke outfits and theme appropriate ones, as I'm not here to dictate what other people's character wear at all. (You just won't catch me dead wearing that stuff myself) But there isn't. Putting in these dungeon outfits would actually balance things out a bit and give people stuff to do instead of having NOTHING to do. Extra fun activities like outfit collecting by running dungeons are really needed in this game. I think extra attention needs to be put in so the patches come with the outfits for the dungeons. I would absolutely sit down to farm Altar's outfit as a warlock myself and was once again disappointed that the outfit is not included in our version of the game. There goes my warlock lore outfit. Rather do that than run DemonsLAME. All my stuff is already at +12 and there is no reason to keep wasting gold on this terrible system. I would rather farm an outfit in hard mode like old times.
