  1. Now if I'm getting this right, AP is the sum of the weapon, gems, souls and accessories as well as soul shield bonuses and attributes. In percentage, how many BNS players think this is what AP is vs how many BNS players think it's a magic number that plays an important role in your dps and your knowledge of the gameplay? In percentage, how many BNS players look at crit stats, accuracy, boss AP, and elemental damage vs how many BNS players look at weapon level, gems and AP? Is AP really everything? I don't think so in PVE terms, how bout you?
  2. Enchanting Widow Face accessories

So I just finished contacting NC Soft: I reported to them that the Enchanting Temptress Mask, Cobalt Striped Blindfold, and the Cobalt Studded Blindfold do not drop at all in Nightshade harbor (or Bloodshade harbor as the mouseover claims). They replied that it was not a bug and that they do drop....So at a very low rate? I mean the Zen Bean merchant has the full set of the Bloodshade harbor widow set, yet it doesn't have the Full set for the Enchanting widow, it just has the outfits. Not once has anyone ever owned these accessories nor does the merchant show that it even exists. When I farm Nightshade harbor, the chest doesn't even say it drops, it just shows the outfit tickets. PLUS the dungeons themselves (Both Nightshade and Bloodshade) do not say they drop. It's kind of weird that the team members only said it's a random drop chance yet there's no physical existence of the accessories besides the showroom in f3. I guess this post is just to try to get the admin's attention on how to actually make these accessories accessible. I suggest putting them in the achievement merchant or something. Does anyone else have any ideas?
  3. Reading all your posts you missed the fact that some dead dungeon cosmetics can be purchasable now so that people are not wasting time farming back to back in hopes that rng will be nice. Junghado set for example in mushin's tower for a number of Warrior badges, Nirvana outfit for a certain amount of yungsang necklaces, Hotshot and Bullet time for a certain amount of mewtineer coins. As well as a few cosmetics in achievement merchant for certain amount of gold and fabric. Even the new solo dungeon has farmable coins like Outlaw island does. So it has nothing to do with getting cosmetics with just a snap of a finger and some swipes. They're farmable in terms of trying to get them from the actual dungeon but also directly purchasable if they never seem to drop but you've managed to have a large amount of currency materials. I'm not saying getting these items is literally impossible for some people but you'd think that these listed PVE cosmetics would be directly purchasable through PVE methods like farming for a certain number of Hae Mujin orbs or something for the Widow accessories or poharan perfume for cosmetics that claim to drop in E fleet/Supply chain.. I dont care if it takes 1k orbs or purfumes or 100 freaking gold (ridiculous but farmable) as long as it's directly purchasable via PVE methods too, not just PVP. Like it's fine if PVPers can also get them with PVP methods but it would just seem more fair if PVEers would also have their chance without changing their gameplay. Also Yaory based on the context I just read, this topic has nothing to do with gear, sorry :/ It's pertaining to cosmetics only.
  4. I'm just finding out that you can now purchase some of the dead dungeon cosmetics through Zen Beans > Outfit exchange ticket. DISCLAIMER: What is contained in this forum is as unbiased as possible and is based more on the community's response. I am part of the community who does not agree on PVE cosmetics being obtainable easier only in PVP methods but the post is still based on everyone else's perspective that I've discussed this with. The following are now available through the Zen Bean merchant: -Obsidian Set -Dark Sandstorm -Tomb of Exiles set along with spider horns -First step -Poharan set with male lyn outfit as well -Hard work chef hat -Blackram general uniform (which is also available in the Achievement merchant) -Blackram officer uniform (which literally drops anywhere in the blackram dungeons even if you're not farming for them) -Noble of the Sea -Pirate king (which is also available in the Achievement merchant) -Cobalt widow blindfold -Cobalt widow hair (which is also available in the Achievement merchant) -Scarlet widow mask -Both the regular and enchanting widow outfits (which is also available in the Achievement merchant minus the enchanting ones) -Naryu labyrinth sets for wind and thunder -Gale force and Lightning strike (which is also available in the Achievement merchant) -High dragon set -Wild horse -Bully wrap Reason why this idea is disliked...a lot: How is that fair to players who don't PVP and have been farming for a long time or bring a player out their like..comfort zone just for an hour or 2 of PVP? Mind you that PVP can have quite a bit more downs than ups if people play alone..and half the time it's always a group of solo-que-ers. This literally just punches them in the face with a "do what you dont like" vs "continue torturing yourself" solution to the dead dungeon cosmetic farming problem. I'm not just saying this to "speak the mind of the people." I've actually discussed this with quite a few people, random people in faction chat as well. Almost all of them agreed that the solution to making it easier for dead dungeon cosmetics to be obtainable distasteful and annoying. The few who were indifferent about were just that certain percentage who's not really affected. But if you think about it the ratio between PVEers who dont like this solution and PVEers who are nonchalant about the solution is a very big difference. I'm estimating 16:3 with 16 being the unhappy PVEers and 3 being the indifferent PVEers. And yes I really did estimate this so that I'm not being biased with post. This ratio could be bigger than what I counted up though since right now I'm only basing this off the people I talked to. This post could make that ratio bigger or smaller. I've played pvp before in my lifetime of gaming. Blade n Soul is the only game I've never pvp'ed in because of how poorly optimized the engine is plus with the game being old with hardly any resets on pvp statuses besides ranks (as far as i know because I don't PVP anyways. Someone is welcome to correct me on that) you have high geared and high ranked pvpers to deal with that will make it less motivating to keep farming for pvp currency. F8 for PVE is already cancerous as it is, knowing how PVP is, that cancer is quadrupled. This only seems more in favor of PVPers while PVEers are still stuck with unnecessarily bad rng in a dead dungeon. As I mentioned before in a previous topic relating to this, you can purchase a Junghado outfit set through PVE. Yet now you got some outfits that people have been dying to get only available with PVP currency. Now I can understand some players don't like PVE, but why on earth are PVE cosmetics only obtainable either through really lucky rng or PVP? The idea of making these cosmetics available for both paths was not a good one? It's one thing to have certain outfits only obtainable through PVP and PVP ranks and that's completely fine because those are pretty much PVP cosmetics/rewards. However, it doesn't make a lot of sense that cosmetics you would obtain from a dungeon IE PVE is only purchasable with PVP currency. It seems better if those items would be available to buy with PVE currency or even gold. At least that way both sides will have a chance to get what they want if rng is not being very nice. Does anyone else agree that this idea was rather poor or does anyone think there's a way to cheese through that for PVEers who are crazy about dungeon cosmetics? (not that I'd encourage that, it will eventually make PVP unfair).
  5. I have a question that google/BNS forum topics cannot answer with up-to-date information right now as of the past couple months (May to present). People juggle between which class element for gunners do the most dps. I just want to know for my personal information (and hopefully for others too) because I currently have a level 45 Gunner in progress of reaching max level whenever I'm finished with my main for the day. I have friends who play gunner as a main but their opinion is rather biased since they can't afford trying out both elements to see the difference in dps. So I'm asking a larger crowd of people in hopes that someone had did a little bit of research. Is fire gunner still stupid overpowered as far as dps goes? Or has shadow started to come around? To me the animation for fire is not as interesting as shadow yet there are so many fire gunners around which leads to fire gunner having more dps than shadow. YET thats only if RNG is on their side and they get that sweet true shot enough times for their rotation. Meanwhile shadow can be sustained in dps. Im basing this off of the old information I recall from gunners. It could be completely different now but my question still stands. Does anyone have an unbiased answer?
  6. I mean I should be farming hollow's heart (normal mode) for my gloves but people are like "HAVE ARANSU OR GET KICKED YOU DUMB RAVEN 9 FORCE MASTER" *multiple facedesking* Therefore I rely on my clan members to carry me or I just do what i usually do and just: Log on once a week > do weeklies on all characters then send all the gold and mats i made on my alts from weeklies to my main> craft transformation stones > sell transformation stones > loggout for the rest of the week to play Sims 4 and work. Rinse and repeat until I get 1k only to find out what I'm after costs me 5k (total) because F5 inflated again. *Insert that one horrific face desking youtube video here.*
  7. If the new patch allows you to purchase the full Junghado outfit now then why cant the same be done to the rest of the dead dungeons that drop cosmetics? The achievement merchant even has the cobalt hair and the female BSH outfits along with quite a few other items but for some reason they missed quite a lot of dead dungeon cosmetics that are a real pain to farm for. Honestly I'd rather spend gold to get the Scarlet mask that I've been trying to get since November 2017. Half the people who got the scarlet mask were either incredibly lucky (which is a very small %) or they got it from the Merchant of Wonders a couple years back. If they cant figure out what currency to use to purchase dead dungeon cosmetics then can they just put it in the achievement merchant for some fabric and gold like they did with cobalt hair? At least that way people have an actual chance to get it as compared to being driven crazy that they have yet to get something they've been going after for nearly half a year and still had no luck Im not joking about trying to get scarlet mask for almost 6 months. RNG seems to let me get the Bullet time set before i even complete the 10 Yeoharan defeat achievement but a cosmetic from a dead dungeon wont even give me a glint of hope. In stead of spamming Hollows Heart like i should be, Im instead obsessed with trying to get a scarlet mask that has a very low chance rate for some reason despite it being a dead dungeon now. Let's not mention the fact that blindfold has a higher drop rate because I got 2 of those suckers in the span of 6 months but still no scarlet?? Just end the suffering already and let me directly buy it because I want to move on from this dungeon. Im a bit of an obsessed completionist too, it's not satisfying to farm a boss that you one-shot over 100 times and still dont get what you're even there for in the first place. (Edit: Just reposting until the problem has been acknowledged)
  8. Farming Dead dungeons

I mean if they're not going to increase the drop rate for dead dungeon cosmetics then at least let me buy it with gold. I dont even care if it costs 200g (please dont actually because that's ridiculous for dead dungeon cosmetics. Already got cobalt hair at 100g and it only interests me for so long before i find the unrealistic flopping annoying as heck)....you get my drift though. Dead dungeon cosmetics shouldn't be a "chance" at this point considering how far we've gotten, it should just be like junghado set: purchasable. Or at the very least:higher chance rate.
  9. [NEWS] Eternal Night: Items and Systems Preview

I can't count how many times I saw a new player ask where can they farm for gold now. They cant do a full purple train unless they are carried, and not every player wants to be part of a clan despite the benefits. So what could they do? Before the patch the main chance of getting gold was from the daily boxes and dungeons Naryu Sanctum, Naryu Foundry and Ebondrak Citadel was a total of a good 11 gold considering new players cant really go higher than Naryu. If they have decent rng then the daily box would drop 10g. This in turn gets them 21 gold a day which is honestly not enough but at least there was progress. They pretty much removed the chance to have 100g or more from rng boxes. Do you know what else they removed? Elder dragon boxes. Yep, so not only are new players affected with not getting that sweet 100g rng from lucent boxes now but the higher geared are also cut off from getting gold too which is a major problem considering the price for Mystic badges and entry fees. Basically this game just said: you're not getting rng gold anymore, you're going to make gold off of dailies and swipe more or sell your belongings. So like, I'm probably going to uninstall this game because this patch is just that disappointing.

  11. Moonstones for PvE

So it appears that the developers decided to remove moonstones from the daily boxes, the main material for literally everything you need in end game: transmuting Premium Transformation Stones, crafting Transformation stones, transmuting sacred oils, you name it you're more than likely going to need moonstones. No I'm not talking about Moonstone crystals (which can be easily farmed from Naksun and literally every dungeon). There's 3 groups in the gaming community (this is biased by the way): There's group 1 who enjoys mainly PVP, there's group 2 who don't really care about doing either or, and then there's group 3 who enjoys mainly PVE. Group 1 is not really affected by this patch, they're likely to just keep going willy nilly with the game. Group 2 is also not really affected either. But then there's Group 3 who's taken the biggest affect on this recent patch update. They are pretty much either being forced to play a feature of the game they don't really enjoy at all or more than likely going to have a hard time getting their material unless they swipe (or have that og rngesus on their side and have hm coins). While this is not a HUGE deal of affect, let's say that group 3 is about over 50% of the bns population. NC Soft's attempt to promote PVP just because they're part of ESport would likely backfire. I can say I'm part of group 3 as well as a large amount of people I've encountered throughout my bns gameplay who would rather PVE than PVP (I'm claiming that there's a larger percent of players who play bns would rather PVE than PVP but I'm not stating this as a fact it's just based on my perspective). People say you can farm moonstones the same way you can farm soul stones. However, now that this patch is released those mines are more than likely to be crowded up with moonstone starved players now and therefore it's going to become a PVP field again (As compared to before when you could barely spot any players for a good 2 hours). THEREFORE: PVE players looking for moonstones are going to find themselves PVPing because the moonstone mines are going to crowd up. Here's my point in this topic: It would be nice to bring back the moonstones from those daily boxes giving people at least a chance to have more moonstones that they need rather than relying on the F5 which is going to inflate on moonstones again or hope you can make a deal with your PVP savvy pal. That was the one feature I hoped would never be touched because even though it's RNG, at least I could be able to make do with what i could get. Now there's like very little I will make off of and my chances of progressing to the PVE status I want to reach is going to slow down...like a lot. And I'm sure this group 3 can say the same. Now I've played bns for a good 7 months or more (technically i played since CBT but this is my first time actually maining on bns); as far as I'm concerned there's no other way to get moonstones besides f10, weekly challenge box and MAYBE f5 if desperate. These are very little options though, I had a little struggle enough with moonstones being rng, now it's just a kick in the teeth that i get such a small amount with all my alts combined. If anyone agrees with this then hopefully the admins can try to reconsider; at the same time educate me here because I'm unsure of where else I can find moonstones without having to worry about flipping my desk over because of the typical PVP bs (that and im too potato to even show other toon's effects without lagging). Is there ANY other way to get them or is this just relied on the admins to bring back daily moonstone chances?
  12. I had the same problem. I won and claimed to have had the code but when I tried to claim it there was no code. I sent a ticket in regards and they helped me get my outfit.
  13. Stop Lobby harassment please (Repost)

It is quite sad that either people take advantage of the recent patches that basically boosted everyone's ap and stats. They tend to forget what it was like back then when 900ap was the "asking too much" requirement. Now its 1.1k+ in a simple dungeon like NS or EC. People are spoiling themselves and thinking they are better than the other person just because they have higher ap. Not to mention the fact that some newcomer players who get this treatment also start to believe that they need to be that *tightbutt* about ap requirements regardless of dungeon difficulty. I have 1.1k ap and i cant even be allowed in the newest dungeon to experience it because people want 1.2k+ (aransu gear). Which is why I just rely on my clan. I always say that AP # =/= IQ #. let alone experience. As for regards to my post, I have no support towards people who want these unnecessary amount of ap for a simple dungeon like ssm (which is clear-able even with 1kap as long as mechs are just followed). I do however wish there was a little more penalty to people who take advantage of not having any sort of penalty from being kicked. While some *pooheads* will take advantage of the kicking penalties (if there ever will be one) I'd just say try another lobby or create your own rather than bother the other person and waste their time. If they want 1.2k ap in NS? Fine, make your own lobby or find another who's recruiting for less expectations. Just don't be that guy who stoops down to "I'm gonna just rejoin this one until they accept me or until I make everyone else leave and waste their time" because you don't want that done to you. Getting kicked doesn't feel nice because you're not being given a chance but it's not personal either. It's only a game and chances are you can get yourself suspended or even banned with that kind of behavior even if you're trying to make a point. If they dont want you in their party then thats fine, move on, because rejoining to make a point or whatever the case may be does not really make a point, it's just telling everyone that you're there to waste their time now even if you try to say something beforehand. Just move on. Site note: I'm not one of those crazy-about-ap players. I'm pretty lenient and actually check everyone's gear despite my super slow f2 (and people some times try to rush me while Im waiting for f2 to load but I don't pay them no mind, it's not their party it's mine.). Gear is the first I look at honestly. HM level? Nah. Because I once made the mistake of not checking the gear of an hm13 player in SSM and later on found out he had full solak gear...so i dont discriminate hm level especially considering I have 3 hm9 alts with all 3 legnd acc so far and high staged bale soon to be raven (When i bother to fund them again).
  14. Nice Try

Let's mention the fact that some players dont pvp at all because the balance and community is almost as cancerous as a League of legends chat box. That and they generally just enjoy pve a lot more. So....what..? Are they trying to force people to play part of a game they honestly don't enjoy as much as pve? Just cause bns has tournaments that are part of esport doesnt mean they should try to advertise/assert pvp into the game. That will make bns more pvp oriented and then more cancerous and then more dead. If that happens I'm going back to playing offline games like the Sims 4. Not sponsored by Electronic Arts (those money-hungry-expansion pack for oxygen for 30usd-bastards). Because in the recent years of MMORPGs either a game tries to wring your wallet dry for minor fair gameplay experience (Looking at you Aeriagames) or they become cancerous because pvp is the only way to fund and gear up your character...and you know how it is in pvp. That's a whole-nother forum. I'm at that point where I'd do without the online gaming because offline at least lets you relax and have it your way (sort of).
  15. WARNING: LENGTHY POST You've seen it happen. You've probably been a victim too. When you're looking for party members in F8 via the chat/party finder and you have requirements such as high enough DPS to complete a dungeon or just, in general, have completed a quest to let you enter certain dungeons. But then there's that one person who you kick because he doesn't meet the least requirements you're looking for and he thought he could be part of the party. Then he rejoins...again...and again....and again...literally seconds after you kicked. Your party is getting impatient and you can't do anything about this troll now other than to either form up another party with different lobby number or try again later (private lobby if desperate measures). It's an infuriating experience that these kinds of trolls have the freedom to enjoy just because they can't have their way. Seriously, where are the penalties for these kinds of situations? Reporting and blocking don't really do anything as immediately as a click of a button. I think there should be an actual penalty for being kicked from a lobby or even blocked from the player who is leading that party. Blocking a player should have a bit more power besides silencing them in the chat box. I think it should also just prevent them from interacting with the player they are blocked from whatsoever, such as joining their party (just to harass again). Kicking players I think should have a penalty cooldown. If someone gets kicked from a party, the ability to rejoin/reapply at the snap of fingers shouldn't be a thing the offender has. Depending on how the cooldown works it could go good or bad. In my eyes, I see a kick penalty cooldown only in dungeon lobbies since that's where the biggest instant rejoins take place. I wouldn't suggest that kicking penalty cooldowns should be a thing outside cross-servers considering that evil players might use that power and kick people randomly just so they can suffer a cooldown for no reason. The ability to just ignore that person's constant application in-server parties is already a thing. Say you have someone join your lobby and you kick them because they didn't complete the orange DKV quest that Naryu Foundry requires to be complete; that kicked person should then be unable to rejoin that lobby number they were kicked from for a certain amount of time (5 minutes sounds long enough or 10 minutes). The same situation to if you decide to block that person because they rejoined your lobby later on and still haven't met the requirements, they would now be unable to join any cross-server lobby that you are the leader of. They might still be able to apply to your party in-server but that can just be simply ignored. These are just my idea's on how lobby harassment should be handled though. Any opinions? 050418Edit: Reposting, the more you repost a topic that you actually want a BNS admin to notice, the more likely you will get that notice. Least thats what I believe until one of them comes in like "Uhm sorry you cant post the same topic over and over :)"
