  1. Players can't complete the soulboost anymore as ''Altar of infinity'' has been moved to a ''normal'' dungeon. The soulboost only applies to the word ''Stage'' which isn't accurate anymore. Can you please look into it? @Primali
  2. As a long time player (since 2013) I do have to mention it has its own flaws. For example once ur done with raiding, you are stuck for 6 months before a new one with better gear pops up. The events are very simple, you literally do it in 2~3 minutes and you are done as they give you the outfit (usually bad one) etc right as u complete the quest. Blade and soul gives players reason to participate to events and is more rewarding. I believe FF14 is better than bns in terms of communication as they have every two months or so a producer live letter with a translator and players are heard. I love both games, just that there is a lack of communication with NCsoft/NCWest towards the community and I don’t think it’s fair to just stay quiet and ignore your playerbase.
  3. I think the old system was better for everyone and I actually spend time doing my alts. Right now with the rng involved in the gold chest and one key per day feels less appealing on doing my alts. I just do it on my main and well if I feel like alts, sometimes I do it but it is not rewarding like the old system.
  4. I think OP is right and I agree with his suggestion of giving it more entice to attract more players through out stream rewards. Other games do this too with great rewards.
  5. I was wondering if it would be an idea to bring in old limited outfits in today’s specials rotation? Many players missed out on a lot and it be nice to get some of those like midnight action hero? It be nice to get some of those if possible!
  6. Sooo I was wondering when we get the new trove and if we get increase of items of certain ones?
  7. Fire fm is really fun! Pretty good for casual play and u wanna just vaporize stuff!
  8. I think NCSoft needs to just implement a 30 seconds afk sign out of instance thing where if players don’t contribute a certain amount of damage. I think that’s a fair solution to be honest and will make people actually contribute because this way you can use more alts for the timer, but people are lazy. Even if it is casual content sure ppl can afk but not when I’m in the instance. Imagine one afk person in stage 8 demonsbane yeah same thing should apply to brain dead content like this. Imo. I don’t care about if people dc, simply don’t que for it if ur potato pc can’t handle it.
  9. It definitely was one of my favorite contents when it was new. It was very competitive and I really enjoyed the fact you could get hm coins even for alts! I also loved the title and it was an alternative to pvp. I think the rewards just needed to update and I definitely think it was a lot more fun than these masters solo dungeons. I liked the unexpected challenger, sometimes u got a class that could counter yours or vice versa! Pretty neat overall!
  10. I think now that they reorganize ncwest by firing 20% of employees it seems like a dire situation. A steam version would bring back a lot of players but it’s an investment I don’t think this company wants to spend on even if the outcome would be profitable. Now I do wonder, with throne and liberty, it’s gonna be tricky to see if bns in the west is gonna last long if they would focus on other titles so wonder if it’s worth spending money on this game if it dies anyway.
  11. I mean that was one of my fav ranking parts to get some hm coins and rewards and it was fun too. Last time I went in it was being repaired by npc people, when will it come back?
  12. I think the charm of Blade and Soul was it’s pvp system. I remember I was invited to the alpha I think for a weekend and everyone was like so hyped and thrilled to get into it. It was super active and 3vs3 always had my heart go fast! BnS classic probably won’t happen as it’s reputation went downhill. I do believe that blade and soul 2 would be great if it was on PC and will most likely get people back into the game but with the upcoming new titles coming out this one might hit the bucket based on the financial report. I love the game but honestly they removed so much stuff that made it worth farming stuff in the open world too!
  13. I miss the old days where we were fighting blackwyrm and Shiro getting attacked while tanking blackwyrm by Codex. Where we all were super nice to eachother and the world was so active and competitive in pve and pvp! Remember the days we saw tournaments everyone got so hyped about but now it seems to be all gone. What happened to the community? Where is the love we once had for this game? Sometimes I wonder if Jonathan Lien was still around we would still be great! The live streams were always so nice and warm. Factions also had its own purpose where it was ceruleans vs crimson for blackwyrm and sure it was a pain sometimes, but we had fun - sometimes I wished we could turn back time and enjoy the new stuff again. Also now everyone don’t wanna learn mechanics anymore and brute force and are impatient if a wipe happens. Now equalized pvp is dead cos no rewards, but honestly instead of removing the rewards, wouldn’t it be cool to have it back and just ban the win traders? Much love, especially to Shiro aka Alisa ❤️
  14. Maybe they just want a quick cash grab before closing their servers. Im not surprised anymore. They used to care for their f2p players, but now it's just a greedy company that does minimum effort -> maximum profit.
  15. @Askaria @Cupidstar NCwest/NCSOFT = Gameforge for Soulworker. Gameforge only cared about updating their cash shop and not fix errors ingame or give stuff f2p players could benefit from. Holy moly it just made me realize how they became a wulf in sheep clothing trying to get your money. No backbone and eventually, like Gameforge did after 5 yrs of Soulworker, NCWEST gets fired by NCSOFT and some sort of reboot comes in: Blade and Soul Reboot published by developers on steam! *popcorn*
  16. Tbh might go back soon to ffxiv, am kinda done with these f2p mmos that just care for your money rather than their own game. Anything that us benefitting the players are being removed like the recent change of the Realm rift supply chain that let u exchange tokens for a 10mil charm plus a 2mil standard one and xp soup. This box dropped from the dungeon by killing mini bosses. I also played sw and again it is just a money grab like this one. Will probably just do some daily challenges and log off as FFXIV has the noctis car event up and ofc next month expansion of endwalker. Reaper looks badass.
  17. The events are what makes it very f2p friendly like cta, candy event (these two were prob the best ones). The problem is that these are rare and if you miss out, it is very expensive to gear up. I don't choose sides, but some parts of ncwest are nice to f2p players. The keys in the hongmoon store are very wrong and shouldn't even be there. Ncwest does try, but on short terms bases sadly.
  18. Yes? Wasn't the CTA event obvious for f2p players, or do I need to spell it out for you?
  19. Maybe because some are f2p and play casual? I finished mine for my alt, but could understand other players jumping into the game later on the event.
  20. Im geared so not running into issues, but definitely do think that at this point, they should add Thornbreaker stage 9 to story mode. People that came back are kinda left with exalted weapon and pretty hard to get into parties even for lfp groups or weekly pleb raids. Not sure about the lifespan of bns because it is just not player friendly for new players. Sure there was cta but what about those that couldnt do it? I just think storymode needs to give good gear so players can enjoy. Some random said its not the destination but the journey. Well tbh, the journey seems pretty grim for new players, alts or ppl that play the game casually. Also just wondering why they don't do anything about cheaters like in spectral shrine. People using bns buddy, automatic scripts etc. Win trading for seasonal arena bg, seems kinda weird that these ppl aren't getting banned for it. I do hope so, but if not: the future of blade and soul is not gonna last even with ue4.
  21. @Raiya @Dipndazwhich region do you two play? On topic: bns, like every f2p mmos, are trying to get their money from cash shop and don't necessarily feel the need maintaining their audience on long term bases. See, the big difference with square enix's FFXIV is that they have no p2w elements and listen to their players and feedback as it is important to mainten their subscribers (25 euros for 60 days). Naoki Yoshida answers questions before live letters and has passion for the mmo genre and FFXIV. I think a big flaw of f2p companies is that they disconnect themselves with its playerbase on the longrun. While bns has been out on na/eu for 5 years, you can see that they really put effort into maintaining their players in the first year and it went downhill. Jonathan always was listening to the needs of players and was a veteran player on the Taiwanese server so knew the game inside out. The pvp tournaments were alive and hence it was the golden age. I remember the first trove gave 10 premium transformation stones, players were competitive in arena and it was a friendly community until the greed got to ncsoft. I understand that a company needs profit, but it is also crucial to keep in touch with your playerbase because in the end those are the ones that will support the game.
  22. @Corwhales would still go 6vs6 normal mode and fight other whales. The people that just like the idea of an 6vs6 equalized mode are the more casual players that would like to experience fun into 6v6 without getting one shotted by an overpowered pvp player. I understand that players want to kill "fresh meat" for their gear, but inviting more players into an equalized gear mode for 6vs6 would get us more variety of pvp players in battleground. @Kicsiduda The battle royal mode was something else than the normal 6vs6 battleground and played different as players needed to pick up items for buffs. I want to entice a mode where new players can join in and have fun without having to worry about gear. Additionally it would be nice to get pvp rewards so eventually if they feel comfortabel enough, join the 6vs6 normal mode.
  23. I haven't done 6vs6 in a long time and probably never will based on my experience with this very toxic community (atleast in EU, not sure about NA). I would like to suggest an 6vs6 battleground with equalized gear and great pvp rewards. Players could jump right into it without having to worry about gear or hm lvl. The whales can still kill low geared players effortlessly in the normal 6vs6 mode. Maybe the devs could think about this for in the future? @Hime
