  1. - I believe they're being phased out around the end of this month so they'll most likely not be handled any longer. - Yes and no. I do understand some stages are nice to go through but I'm definitely against items keeping their older stages such as stage 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 etc. Either remove them completely (bit harsh for sure) or just make it Cosmic -> Awk. Cosmic -> True Cosmic without the 1 2 3 4 5 stages annoyance. - I mean, pretty much all the items should be able to be crafted via. crafting/transmutation. It's annoying to have games always revolving around gold/"""p2w""" (should be just pay at this point since you don't win anything, whatever) instead of having self-autonomy. I'd like to gather my own mats with my own self along my own means/grinding, and not counting on DC/WC + raids + random bid money every single time using 42 alts char. - Exactly. This game should get some lessons from BDO about account wide features in my opinion.
  2. But wait, there's more ! PTS crystals instead of Premium Trans. Stone for VT necklace. Btw 6 PTS for VT necklace yet only 3 for ET necklace, might wanna take care of in-game details if anything. Remove purple stages on Soul, Pet, Talisman and Heart : waste of mats, waste of time. Might wanna adjust costs back for soul as well, 4 years old True Cosmic and you still spend almost 7k gold to upgrade from the starting soul. More crafting guild stuff : Radiant Ring for gem powders, Earthseers for fabrics, just a few example. Transmutation rework : no one transmutes jewels nor elements, neither outfit pouches. Soulstone crystals again and again and again, let's chill out with them one day. Premium windstride bonus removed, every players loses the windstride cooldown. Free alteration of your character under the effects of Premium membership. Soul shield set still in effect even if the outfit is unequipped. Daily challenge removed, rewards transferred into login rewards. (*I'll explain after because this one is, I think, my most controversial hot take) "MSP/BT" soul shield system : quick explaination -> no more double RNG stats like VT and above, only a single one. Elysian crystals from dynamic raid quests. (or boss treasures, whatever) Can we please find a way for account shared achievements ? And by the way, we need more stuff to buy from achievement merchant Kiyeon. Pet gems from Koldrak. Give the box for like, I don't know, 150 Koldrak scales or something. Dragon express : add an option for enlightened jewels/elements for 1g + 5 jewels/elements. Why does transmuting RK souls still cost 5g ? BT/VT/TT tier should ask 1g for their transmutation, step up your updates. Undo the mats streamlining : more elysian/sacred needed for PvE, more ms/ss for PvP. (while also reducing the amount needed of ely/sacred for PvP, and vice versa) I could go on, but that's the one I'm thinking about right now, I used to have a doc full of changes but it would mostly need to rework the entire game at this point. I'm just gonna give an honorable mention to gems : a single gem should be used to upgrade. One octagonal = one hepta and certain different mats. I find it stupid the fact that you need 3 7-sided gems to obtain a single one that only gained one freaking side. * Now about the daily challenge thing, I'll explain the reasons why : - Login rewards doesn't need the player to play the game depending on people that has IRL work, etc. - not forcing the player to run dungeons that aren't for their "tier". (why do I have to run Hollow's Heart with Thornbreaker 9) - and this video from Jarke as well, I can see people coming about how it would affect alts, etc. Worry not, I think the game could use of making "box tiers" like normal, rare, heroic and legendary. Daily challenge treasures could have those tiers, where the most chars you own, the better the box you'll get. F.e. an account with 2 chars will always have the normal box (current one), while an account with let's say 7 chars will get a heroic one (purple).
  3. First of all a preview should actually just show what's the upcoming contents, telling anything about possible upgrade costs is a hot take. Either that or you should keep all of this when you actually release patch notes. Now, patch notes or not, it doesn't matter. On a game standpoint, you released two dungeons from where you can get a weapon for breakthrough which are Hangar-0 and Stonescale Passage. I understand the stage 9 breakthrough weapon isn't released yet, and will only be next big patch end of June ("Peach Garden" or the bubblegum monkey guy, whatever) but there is literally no reasons to asks a different mat for breakthrough when the one initially planned for it is actually available in-game. Replace only stage 9 breakthrough with a Pristine Oil and let stage 7 and 8 use their respective dungeon weapon for the upgrades as initially planned. There shouldn't even be any arguments about this lol..
  4. Because there is nothing to answer about, I never shared any issues of joining/making MSP parties, I've stated a simple fact and it's that any player that logs in and check on Faction/Region chat parties for MSP will almost always find nothing else but 1.9-2k+ parties. Quick point about GC : when I mean that, I mean gear-tier which also includes accs and so on.
  5. This is still one of many controversial opinion around the game, matters not what you're trying for, this will attack a certain group of people for sure. >they have nothing to say And why is that ? While they not pay, they're still logging into the game daily and it still boost NC Soft's playerbase's numbers. This sounds more like an extreme point of view from a pseudo-capitalism standpoint to have only people that spend real money to have a say in anything. That's definitely NOT how you're supposed to balance or tweak this game at all. The real problem here is one that appears in pretty much any kind of games (even AAA ones) : constructive criticism. When probably 70% of opinions here are like this : Yes there's no way to argue when people act as such. You can see that as well anytime you see someone here arguing with @Grimoirfor example. Also quick point about the typical "if none of us paid, game wouldn't be alive" : NC Soft made a product where the point is to make people spend. However, you'd like to have a sustainable income and as you can see with the quarters results from over the last 2 years, Blade and Soul keeps dropping lower and lower each time. (this quarter had a small bump in gain, which I suppose was due to Frontier) There's no reasonable opinions about how the current policy of micro-transactions is good at this very moment : Premium membership is barely worth it, base cosmetics rotations are almost inexistant, Trove and Hongsil treasure draw are unfair gambling features that should have never seen the day at all, and there's probably more like legendary unity stones being 30-50€ EACH while refining 8 purple unity stones as a f2p player doesn't even guarantee you to get a legendary one, which is literally called "shitting on your progression". I'd understand about Korea having a specific gaming market with mobile gaming but when you open yourself to other regions, the least you should do is to fit these market standards. You can't be surprise to have your income being lower every quarter and say something like "But we're supposed to have made a deal !" while you're the one transgressing it, that's exactly what's currently happening with NC Soft.
  6. Hot take : streamlining all 4 types of materials for upgrades actually made the game worse. I remember back in the day how of an issue gathering moonstone crystal was. Nowadays, it shifted toward elysians while also having a consequential loss of soulstone crystal as well. (it is literally used for every single thing at this point, while it's still not an issue, the loss of ss compared to what I used to own was alarming nonetheless) Meanwhile it's been a kicking 4 years that I still have millions of sacred crystals with close to no ways of dumping them. When I can dump them into something (legendary elements/jewels), it doesn't change the fact that I also have to dump another mat along sacreds as well, which totally cancels the whole thing then. You get tons of sacred crystals thanks to PvE, these should be massively used instead of certain other materials. Elysian only for path raid was fine too, they just needed to give more opportunity of gathering them. It's raid and people can end up with no progression because the elysians are only a part of boss drops. Give people a bunch of them via dynamic chests. (or the boss treasures) Moonstone/soulstone are "pvp" materials and should stay that way : underused for PvE gear, main mats for PvP gear. It doesn't mean PvE gear should ask none of them, I do believe making people play "both PvE and PvP" isn't a bad thing, but they definitely need to make PvP fun for that to happen. Right now Arena/Tags are limited in time, with a tons of players either with 200 alts or people using xml/add-ons trash and Battleground is a cesspool of OHOKs with broken gear along broken 3rd specs for most. But back to mats, it should be the opposite for sacred/elysian : main pve mats, underused for pvp gear.
  7. @NorbertTheOpinionated It's very simple : mobile gaming is what give them the most of income. My take is that they're running on a single-minded economic plan. Mobile games are known to be more cash-grabbing than everything else in general and as said, it gives NC Soft the most of their incomes. I believe they're using that one economic for every single one of their games instead of running multiple ones. This is my feeling at least, nothing says I'm truly right.
  8. If only you'd have taken my whole message in account, you could have answer that yourself.
  9. MSPs are 1.9k+ min. good luck. People inefficient to sustain 800k+ with GC against VT tier boss.
  10. They could just add the oil for stage 9 if they really can't wait to release wing/lion 7-9. I know the weapon required for s9 comes from the next dungeon coming end of June but there's not really any reason to asks oils for s7 and s8 aside from annoying off the already annoyed playerbase. :l
  11. Experience is literally : "read the guide". This is nothing compared to the mass wipes from Korea. Here in EU/NA you go into the new raid while already knowing what you have to do, the only requirement is the proper gear for said raid.
  12. I don't understand why there was any hype over Unreal Engine 4 at all, it was obviously an overall upgrade to the graphics for the most part.. and by seeing what the different streamers has gone through, this is literally BDO Remastered but for Blade and Soul. Again, the core problem isn't fixed so it doesn't really matter much, this seems like another short term solution to keep/bring players in for a small period of time. About the whole mobile thing, I don't know. I saw the UI from Frontier and I had BDO's new UI terrible flashbacks going through my mind. Add random crashes + stutters + min. requirements and I find it actually pretty worrying for the future. If it's made on purpose or not is another different discussion ^^
  13. There is seriously no need to have an IQ over 120 to know how to make your game with a correct and progressive upgrading path.. certainly "new" players doesn't know what used to be the old materials costs in upgrading your soul but as someone said here already, your everyday materials should be used for relevant upgrades and not for something like a 4 years old soul. Made multiple posts here in the past where I already talk about how there's an useless amount of items/upgrade systems that just make this game more "complicated" to manage that shouldn't have been made at all. (psyches, dyad gems, unity stones, etc..) It only leads to the majority of people talking about "pay 2 win" and how frustrating it is to keep having this kind of items/systems "forced" down the throat. Yeah, when you have a 200 Crit psyche, it's just one psyche.. but then you add one again, and then another one.. and another one, and again.. and you add the total and you do understand that at some point, it does creates too much of a gap. Realise that even the unity system actually kind of ruined a certain aspect of the game : low lvl PvP aka. alts with 30k hp vs a new player just trying open world pvp. If you're not here since the game has been released, you'll most likely never really catch up unless you talk real money, everything is pretty much an illusion because the core problem is not fixed and will most likely never be since it's pretty much too late to do so now.
