Hey, so my friends and I all decided to play this game together in a party. Everything was going well until we started doing the first purple quest in the abandon well. While we were all doing the first counter quest, everything stopped and we're just stuck with our characters in default grey. We can't do anything to get out besides ending blade and soul in the task manager. Seems like it works after restarting the game and trying again. So just for anyone who runs into this issue, hope this helps! (I was going to insert a picture of what we experienced but it didn't let me, first time posting topics here so forgive me!)

Just redownloaded the game today after hearing about the UE4 updates. Having the same exact issue. Got really infuriating because I've been trying to create my character 3 times now and it disconnects me every time I'm in progress.

My boyfriend started on a new character playing WL and had the same problem. What he did was do his whole combo 2 - 3 - 4 - RMB - 4 - RMB and somehow it worked for all 3 hajoon images so maybe give that a try? There was also no completion sound when he killed each mirror image so take note of that.
