  1. Indeed, end game is not that interesting (I am talking from a pver point of view). Once a week, you pug BT and the short raids. If you have alts, rinse and repeat. Once a week, you do your VT and TT if you have a static group. If your alts are geared enough and have static groups, rinse and repeat. Every day you can do your 6 dungeons or so (the rest is made worthless, rewards-wise). If you have a group of friends around your level that play at the same time, or if you are made of rubber and don't mind a daily dose of drama, you can do them hard mode. If you are carefree, you do them normal mode. If you have alts and have any will to play left, rinse and repeat. Each 3-4 months, a couple more dungeons will be added and will replace some older ones, with some new accesories to bait you for a tiny bit higher stats.

BnS beautiful wide world ceases to exist as soon as you are out of the storyline. And since they removed the blue side quests, you don't ever see half of that world and there is literally nothing to do around that adds to the story, or to the feeling that you are in BnS world, or simply to entertain yourself.

End game is like pacing around in a very small cage.

Conclusion: Give us back the blue quests. Give us back something to do in BnS big (and now dead) world.

In case it wasn't mentioned here yet, here is the response by NC's Cyan in a reddit post in the matter:

In my humble opinion, this is no justification for such a drastic move.
There are reasonable ways to inform new players.
I think the path was clear enough and, frankly, players who lost their patience at that point would probably not have lasted long in this game anyway.

The world of BnS is huge and beautiful, these quests are the only time players visit most of it before slamming into endgame where they will be doing the exact same few things day after day after day... so what's the rush?
Generally speaking, the "scorched content" policy is hurting the game a lot in my opinion. So much content being "phased out" or outright deleted. It's sad.
No content is "old" for a new player right?

More than everything that^ is just a poor testament to NC's decision making process. Seems like a lazy overkill "solution" and lack of foresight and creativity. That, on the bigger picture, exemplifies NC's detachment from the game and the players.

Should be noted that while I quoted a specific person in NCWest, the decision was most likely made by our Korean overlords.

LOL. So they are doing exactly like the players that run like madmen to hit immediately the dungeon boss, burn half of the party with the ensuing wall of fire, leave them all dead there,  run to the next boss. Rinse and repeat.

    Pathetic.

If I just took half the stuff off the shelves in the store and told customers I was streamlining their shopping experience so they had nothing to choose from but milk and eggs, I'd be thrown into on-coming traffic by both the customers and my manager together. LOL

Story is what makes an MMO an MMO.

    Please stop taking away every single reason to P L A Y the G A M E

    Exactly.

  4. Some events are good, like the last one. It helped many players. Some events are bad, like this one (because many people cannot get credit and loot from the event bosses). Ok, I can skip bad events.

The game changes. I have seen it change a lot from launch day. Sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. Ok, I can bear with it and see where it goes.

The optimization sucks. They keep saying they are working on UE4 version. Ok, I can still wait.

PvP is not for me. Ok, I can just PvE and that's what I do. Fine.

They milk people for money more and more and more and some more, ad infinitum. Ok, I don't have to bite that hook.

What keeps me here? The storyline. The visuals. The characters. The environment. The combat system. I have enjoyed that since January 2016.

My player's choice? Please stop removing the content we enjoy, killing stupidly the companions we strive for, making a further pitiful fool out of our main character, leaving the whole beautiful world deserted and useless, confining us to an extremely restricted, repetitive task that cannot be called "game" and doesn't entice our imaginations at all.

  5. I don't know if this can help, but what I did for Obsidian Serpent was just running the quest a maximum of 5 times a day, when I had nothing else to do, and abandoning it each time, of course. It took me a looooong time but I finally got the 3 pieces. I really dont know how many runs it was in total, I decided not to count, but at least that way I didnt get burnt out. I did a similar thing with Junghado's hat, just running once a day for the quest (that took even longer), and with Wild Horse and Bully Wrap. Try to do it when you really have nothing else to do and if you can, dont even expect a drop...  it worked for me, although not quickly.

When the new content update hits, they ARE taking out the older dungeons from DC, and even from the matchmaking lobby. I DO also wish that they'd put Zaiwei Ruins into the DC or at least make it part of the weekly challenge, to make WEEKLY challenges more doable. Not all of us even care about PVP, and it feels like such an arduous chore to trudge through three wins of either battleground, when one win feels like a matter of "RNG", as it is. Sure, ti CAN be done in about a week's time, but I have better things to do than to PVP in battlegrounds "UNTIL" I get those wins for the week. The ONLY reasons I do them are for the weekly challenge rewards including things like event tokens, etc., and currently, for the battle points, so I can buy the 30K outfit at some point.

I think ALL 24-man raid areas should be part of either DC or WC, and in my opinion, I think it would add to the variety of PVE-related activities if it was part of the WC instead of DC. That way, people can co-op to PVE a 24-man raid or two instead of dealing with PVP, if they really, REALLY, really don't want to pvp. lol

For me, it would be a lot more fun of an option. They're fixing DCs so you only need to do THREE out of a choice of SIX different activities, and partly to make it faster and easier to do on a daily basis. So why not make the WC easier/faster too? It doesn't have to be a quick-as-a-wink kind of fast, but to have the choices between PVE and PVP activities would make it more appealing for some of us, I'm sure. If I want to "PVP", I'll play a fighting game. I play BNS for the PVE and because the game has some neat customization with its cosmetics variety, so I can make my character look cool too.

In a fighting game, I can know that I'm losing because my skill isn't as good as my opponent's, and not a numbers game behind who has the higher stats or who has a class that has more CC skills than I have ways to get OUT of CC situations. Where they can spam and repeat CC so many more times, exponentially, than I can escape CC, I do not enjoy PVP in BNS at all, and that's just MY opinion.

If you don't like my opinions, that's okay, but at least respect my opinions for being mine. If you like the pvp in BNS, more power to you, but I don't find it fair, nor balanced at all.

    Again - just my opinions, so don't hate.^^;

I do respect everyone's opinions and I completely agree with yours in this case, but it would be great if we dont stray too far away from the purpose of this thread, even though what you say is not foreign to the issue...

@Liinxy, can we have any news about the possibility of Wild Horse and Bully Wrap getting placed in an achievement merchant? We'd really appreciate it.

but I do understand your struggle and it would make this hairstyle no longer unique. Maybe the outfit should be in the merchant.
I remember once I got it I got so hype and my friend was with me always in skype call that when he heard how happy I was he draw me this /giggle

    22d82d13fcbfc20e2542a61dd8d75a5f.png

so as you can see.. this hair is very unique ^-^ and it would be nie to keep it like that because not very few have it and if you see someone with them it shows that they either got lucky or worked hard.

I am sincerely glad that you had the luck to drop bully wrap when some people still did Zaiwei Ruins. That was a long time ago though. Nowadays, a big majority of us are neither able to solo the instance nor to find other people in the same time zone with a similar free time schedule to do it in team. We are not asking NC to handle the outfit and the hair adornment to us for nothing, just to give us a chance to get them, as you had in the old days. An achievement merchant doesn't mean no effort. The case of this outfit and hair adornment being out of reach for many players is due to the fact that Zaiwei Ruins has been deserted since it was taken off the daily challenge rotation. So we are simply asking for alternatives, as we got in a similar 24 instance like Grimhorn Wilds with its corresponding outfit.

In any case, thanks again @Linxxyfor passing on our suggestion.

    Cheers to all^^

If a company did allow something like this I know it would cost real money. But I never heard of  company that ever allowed the transfer of a char from one account to another.

I've seen it done 2 or 3 times by the western publishers of others Korean games, like Jongwoon. Time limit, security form to fill up, and it went all smooth.

But I dont see much point in speculating among ourselves, NCsoft suggested a post in the forums to see if there would be people interested in this service, and that's what this thread is for... the rest is up to them and the developers, if they want to consider it ^_^

I really don't think transferring a char from one account to another account will ever happen. Allowing it would cause too much of a risk if accounts gets hacked.

Security steps, ISP check and a time limit it's all that is needed, in my opinion. Also don't forget that this would not be a free of charge option, it would cost real money.
