  1. No longer recruiting or in action cause game's future is bleak. Communication Tools We use Discord and in game Clan chat as our primary source of communication Introduction Lyn Brigade started off as a fun clan inspired by the founders having Lyn Blade Dancers as their mains. After recruiting for a while, it turned out more non-lyns were joining than actual Lyns and soon after the name became more of a joke than actually forming a "Lyn-only" clan. (But we try to keep the yearly quota of 70% :shy:) Clan Culture Our core culture is all about helping each other understand the game, learn dungeons, and farm together as a group to avoid potential toxic PUG parties. We enjoy helping both new, advanced, and returning players learn the game as well as catch up to the current end game content. We tackle on new content on first day and do learning runs for new members when asked. We also like to throw in some troll runs cause mindlessly running dungeons can be bit boring. If you're one of those players that are hardcore wanting to farm dungeons for hours and hours to get max gear and the highest AP in the world, this clan might not be for you. However, if you're a player looking for a relaxed environment with a casual community to talk with and get help while you play the game, then our clan may be your next home. Requirements Since a lot of our members are closer to end game, we would like to invite people that are already VT (Temple of Eluvium) Ready although we can make exceptions for those that are wanting to learn the game. There's simply too much outdated content that isn't worth to farm these days, and as much as we want to help gear newbies up, it can take up a lot of time from farming end game gear. We do like to troll around in the clan, we crack jokes, and there's time we're serious. Don't downplay others for not understanding mechanics off the bat or not knowing how to use their class. Be kind, help each other out, and we should all be alright~ And no, you don't have to be a Lyn :p One Major Rule Unfortunately we can't help you if you don't help yourself. We usually will voice out our dungeon/events/parties in the clan chat, and if you don't respond, then we move on without you. If you need help, ask. But don't abuse it. Everyone of us have to be independent in some way, but also we will try to help each other as time permits. If you want to join clan runs, feel free to join. We can't force you to do activities with us, and so your participation in the clan is left in your hands :) Other News We are currently looking for new members to join the fun! It's been a long journey for this clan, and we'd like for people that are looking for a fun clan to enjoy. We do endgame content without the stress of being a hardcore guild. You can be a silent monkey or a talkative bird. We like to help people in gearing and learning the game as much as we can, but at the same time we're not a carry train. You will be expected to do mechanics, do roles, and carry your own weight. I'm not looking for complete floor mats. Please understand how this game works. End Game Our clan does do end game raids although spots are limited at the moment. BTs are usually done on a 'random' schedule but most of them tend to be after 7PM PST on a given day. We usually can run 2-3 BTs depending on participation. Our second VT Group are looking for more static/stable players. If you are ready for VT, feel free to come along after being parsed and tested. We are especially looking for Tanks, Warlocks, Blue Buffs, and Summoners!
  2. Looking for new members and farming partners for end-game dungeons. Preferably looking for WLs, SINs, KFMs, and tanks (can teach mechanics if you haven't done higher dungeons yet). PM me on discord at dualistique#4468 for more information.
  3. We do open spots for non-lyns occasionally. Hello all, We are currently recruiting for more spots. We don't mind lower leveled or returning players joining to have fun and chat, just know that the most active spectrum of the clan are all end-game players and so it's difficult for us to help out others or do learning runs when there are characters that are lvl 45 or just fresh out of the story.
  4. Dungeon loot auction

Depends. Usually dungeons like Heaven's Mandate or Cold Storage have a hidden code where the person that uses the 'White Orb' receives the loot, since White Orbs are valued at 2g or so. For all other dungeons, feel free to bid at your heart's content as long as it's not an annoying copper war.
  5. Press 'ENTER' to use chat.
  6. Thanks for the interest. Feel free to add me (Dualistique) or PM me and we can talk about having you in the guild. Unfortunately, our VT raid is static right now and don't have spaces for anyone else other than potential substitutes when mains are on vacation. Once we have VT on lock and auto pilot, we'll be able to open up another raid to include more clan members for progression. Hello. Currently our only open raids are Saturday at 10 PM PST. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have about our raids/dungeon/clan policies. As I mentioned above, we do have other end-content raids in progress, but they are static (meaning we don't switch people out) and so we are probably only building a temporary sub list in case the static are missing people. Once the raid is fully progressed, we will open up another raid for Temple of Eluvium and so forth. Hi there~ As I stated in the above comment, we do have multiple raids going, and probably the only availability we have is on Saturday at 10PM PST. We do have other days, but usually they are full. We do our best to teach what's going on, but of course, learning the raid through videos/guides beforehand is recommended. For everyone interested in joining the clan, please PM me your discord, and we can discuss the next steps or I can answer anymore questions!
  7. Bumped and updated. Looking for new memes, new blood, and new people to mingle with.
  8. Considering Returning After 2 Years

With the skill revamp, you can easily PvP with some classes without having to farm Hongmoon Levels to get skill points to use skills. Now, all the skills are available at your disposable after level 50. The only caveat is that some Hongmoon skills that certain classes need to PvP efficiently are still unlocked and so you can either PvE or PvP your away to achieve the skills. As far as balance in PvP, there's still a hierarchy, but in the end, if you know the matchup, you can probably outplay the opponent. As far as Bots go, there's still a few of them around in both PvP and in dungeon lobbies but most of the mats and stuff you need for crafting are gained from dungeons and quest rewards, so you aren't necessarily roadblocked by bots.
  9. Long story short, 860 BM that has done Stage 1+2, and current BT pug group has been disbanded. And now most of my guildies are reaching the gear point where BT would be the next upgrade for them and so we're starting our adventure to learn and complete it. Our clan can currently gather a range of 12-18 people for BT depending on schedule, but we're missing the other 6-12 people at times, and so we would like to extend our invite to anyone else that's patient enough to go through the wipes and struggles that BT has to offer. The average of the group is about 750AP+ with most having Stage 6 legendary and legendary accessories with upgraded pets. We are currently looking for tanks, WLs, and good DPSers to help us out. Our current progress is Stage 1 at 48% with around 15 people and 1 WL before people started dying and we eventually hit the enrage timer. Our bidding will be open to the public and there's no clan priority and so items will go to the highest bidder. Our raid time has been usually Friday/Saturday around 8/9PM PST and onwards. Depending on where we are, we normally attempt for 2-3 hrs before we call it a night to prevent burnouts. If you're someone that can join us for the run and want to learn while working up towards completing BT, then you might be our best fit. If you just want a hit it and quit it raid, then you might want to hold off before joining us. If you're interested, please feel free to reach out to me!
  10. Mushin's Tower Floor 16-20

Just keep running, you'll get it eventually. I had a run where I got 2 bracelets from 2 different floors.
  11. 1 day 9 Celestial Basin Key is it enough?

You just farmed too much :p. Take it easy~
  12. Just a little bump. We have cleared Stage 3, and looking for more people to join specifically Summoners, Force Masters, and Warlocks. If you're 850+, and want to join along, feel free to message me in game or on here for more info!
  13. It's not cross server. A few months ago, the company merge a few servers together creating a 'Server Group'. So Master Hong / Gunma / Taywong is considered Server Group 1 and anyone in those 3 servers can interact with each other inside open world :).
  14. Well, you're posting in the Master Hong / Gunma / Taywong thread, and so we're in that server group :) Specifically, the clan was created on Gunma but you can be in either Master Hong or Taywong, and still be able to be on the same server as Gunma.
  15. Today's daily challenge - 2017.04.13.

Think it's a good change. Especially with the utilization of "Normal" and "Skilled" Mode. It forces players to not be scared and to actually play and learn the game. I remember, I see so many high AP players and people sitting at 700+ AP but still haven't DT because they're scared to be a burden to people's parties and so they try to find a clan to teach them (which is still a viable route but good clans are hard to come by at times). Hopefully the game guide will filled out in the near future making it easier for new players to see what the mechanics are. Normal mode is so dumbed down that you can mess up mechanics so many times and still be able to complete. If you and the party generically know what to do, then there's no reason why you can't do some of these harder dungeons.
  16. Soul Fighter Build

Most of your DPS will come from Melee Stance. You use your elemental stance mainly to heal and some stacks of chi. At 41, you just don't have a lot of options due to the lack of HM skills and skill points to spec into certain things. I would try to ploy through story so you can get more gear and more skill points. Once the patch hits April 12, you'll be locked into Ice or Earth build, so you won't really have a choice to do a hybrid.
  17. Coming back to BnS

Still the same mentality. If you don't meet people's requirements, then you're not going to get into that particular party. You either A) LFP, B) start your own party, or C) gear up. All 3 options got easier to achieve especially with the new reduction in weapon costs.
  18. [Questions] About KFM and BM

Well, to be fair, they increased the speed of Dragontongue so it's not that big of a nerf that people think it is. Also in the new patch, it'll be more braindead to tank as BM considering, Lunar Slash/Searing Slash have threat buff for 30 seconds. KFMs is a bit tricky, since you need to block and spec for other things to get the threat buff.
  19. linking the combat record in 6m?

Current patch, it's only linkable by going into 4-man or certain raids like MSP/DKV/SKybreakSpire. If you say it from 6-man, most likely that person modded the game's files which is against BnS's policy.
  20. Is it worth coming back to the game?

I'll be real with you. If you quit because the game's repetitive, you'll most likely quit again for the same reason. Just because a game has new content doesn't mean the core of the game has changed. Once you 'catch-up' somewhat to above average gear and content, guess what you'll be doing? The same dungeons over and over again so you can min/max your stats. If you do decide to play again, you'll be spending your time grinding for legendary gear, soul shield, and accessories. And that could be fun, since it is a 'progression' that you can achieve, but to get all that you're gonna be running the same instances/dungeons just to get them. I think the key to having fun with the game is to really have that core group of friends/clans that you enjoy playing the game with and you take joy in not only your char's progression but your friends as well. I personally like the combat, it's not a typical point and click MMO, and I enjoy playing with the friends that I've made so far. And those have been the reasons why I've been with this game for a year now.
  21. How Many Alts ?

I mainly use alts for a few things: Crafting DKV weekly (To get flowers / gold for my alts that I like to work on later) Cold Storage / Heaven's Mandate (who doesn't like easy and puggable dungeons that require no thought. You have have the worst rotation, and most people won't notice :p. That's about 3g. 3g x alts = profit \o/) Events that have an event daily (You'll never know if one of your alts will be lucky to get a Sealed Item / Costume / Gem) Free Trove Rolls. And sometimes, I'm bored on my main, so I'll use an alt for the day and do daily challenge, or perhaps my clan needs a a certain class more than they need my main, so I switch classes Don't burn yourself doing purple trains and dailies on all of them. You'll quit the game faster if you do that.
  22. Starting BT Group - Group 1 (Master Hong/Gunma/Taywong)

@iCapsule- The Server is in the title. I'm in NA - Server Group 1. Anyone else in NA Group 1, that possibly might want to group up or know of a clan to collab with? Updated our current progress. We were able to finish Stage 1, with some help from people from different parts of clan.
  23. Is the game still active?

80% of the game's core content is instance based, so you're not really gonna run into bots in cross server when doing dungeons.
  24. Added you back~ Will try to get you in if I see you on, but if you happen to see other Veteran on, feel free to whisper them for an invite!
  25. Midnight Skypetal Plains

I'd try to look for Saturday/Sunday since it's double box days and also Daily Challenge.
