  1. There seems to be something wrong with my qing gong jumping skill. I can jump up enough to glide, but because I don't jump high, I fall short of the distance for quests that require long jumps. At this point I'm stuck on the main yellow quest line because I can't do the jump required to reach the mountain top monastery. I have been playing a few months, and I get a lot of practice running and jumping. I know to get some distance running to jump. I've tried both WW and shift W for getting a running start. I hit the space bar to jump, and I hit the space bar again at the top of the jump to glide. I've done the purple qing gong quests through Wall Run. I have no problem with wall runs. For E. Fleet, I often fall short on the jump between the platform and the ship. Then I get across by dying and hoping I will resu on the other side. I've only done the Blackram Supply Chain raid a couple of times. When I have trouble jumping, no one wants to hang around and wait for me. Because I couldn't do that raid, I ended up skipping item upgrades that requires a lot of items from the Poharan area. I also couldn't do Bloodshade Harbor until my hp and soul shield were strong enough for me to run the maze through the mobs on my own. Other players took shortcuts by running up walls and jumping across the walls of the maze. I fall short just before the wall. Other players get irritated at me for holding them back and delaying their dailies. Some players automatically leave the party when they see me. When I explain my jumping problem, they say I must be doing it wrong. I've asked other people to log me in for the jumping quest in Scorching Sands, and they are able to make the jumps with my character. My laptop is an ASUS A55V running Windows 8, and it's several years old. I've tried turning numlock on and off as well - no difference. I'm wondering if there's something different about the keyboard layout. I made a second character, and the second one also doesn't jump high enough to make long jumps. I've tried to get customer service to look into this, and they want me to take video of the problem. I don't have any video program on this computer, and this just isn't something I've learned to do. It seems wrong that I would have to install a third party program, learn how to use it, and get good enough at it to alt tab with BnS, focus on doing my best jump, and stop the video before it's too big to email. Perhaps all that is obvious once I start using the video app, but right now it seems complicated when I think about it. I'm also baffled as to what the video would show them. The video wouldn't show what keys I was pressing. It would just show me run, jump-not-so-high, glide, and fall short of any landing place. It seems to me that asking me to obtain and learn a video program is intended to make it so difficult to get the problem addressed that I will just drop the issue. However, I can't drop the issue because a big jump is now part of the central questline. I can't proceed in the game at all. I might find someone to log me in - which is a very big security risk - to do the jump for me. However, even if I can get past that part of the quest, I still won't be able to join in certain raids. This will continue to be an obstacle to weapon upgrades, achievement points, and obtaining items that only drop from those raids. I'm very frustrated by this situation. I don't understand why customer service has no tools to look at my account and won't even send a GM to directly eyeball what I'm doing. During their last attempt to close the ticket without addressing my problem, the customer service rep suggested that I post the problem here where "devs would see it". Again I'm baffled: customer service can't escalate a ticket through tech support and to the devs if necessary? Thanks in advance for looking into this jumping problem. I'm also curious if any other player has a similar problem.
