  1. Goodbye, @Hime. I'm glad you can get some rest now. I know you've had it rough just finding the time for yourself. I wish you the best of luck in the future. As for @Green Storm, welcome to the party and good luck =p
  2. Koldrak's durability loss is connected to hitboxes. Because Koldrak is essentially a large number of hitboxes, your character is constantly hitting multiple segments simultaneously. The upside to this is things like weapons that work by building stacks to reach a higher form (ending with a skill reset) will proc much faster (you may notice your skills reset very quickly in Koldrak). In Aerodrome, this is not happening.
  3. Hey, everyone! I've been running Aerodrome (like many of you) lately and I've noticed that I've needed to repair my weapon very frequently. So, I decided to go in to Aerodrome with a fully repaired weapon and after one run, I checked my weapon again. Lo and behold, the weapon was already down to 80% durability. I checked with other party members and they noticed it too, so it's not just a specific class/spec. Running Aerdrome will tear about 15-20% of your weapon's durability off per run. I even tested Aerodrome at level 1 and the same thing happened! Considering most dungeons maybe take off 2-5% durability at most. Though I can't tell it's another "working as intended" thing or a bug, I logged a ticket with an inquiry and was told to post here. Well, here it is. If any moderator is listening, please send it up the pipeline that this is both annoying (having to stop to fix your weapon every 4 runs), but a bit of a resource hog to keep making and using hammers like this - again when this is one of the only dungeons that's currently doing this.
  4. For the 2nd spec for Soul Fighter (Ice), one of the PvE weapon paths reduces the cooldown of Focus Chi by 30%. Using that and the Wingrise soul badge, you can have unlimited Focus Chi, meaning you can use Dragonfury, build stacks for Frost Storm. It's recommended for that spec to use that weapon path.
  5. Hey, there! This is mainly for the moderation team as a suggestion. As it's been posted on the main page, the Grand Celestial, Thornbreaker and Silversteel weapons will all be getting cost reductions. This is pretty normal with the raid path weapons and has happened a few times even over this year alone. However... The non-raid path (Shadow Forge, Dragon Spire, etc.) weapons rarely (if ever) seem to get these cost reductions to match. This means that, what used to be the commonly "cheaper" is no longer all that inexpensive. Additionally, some specs benefit more from the non-raid weapons (IE: Earth Summoner and Ice Soul Fighter). So, I'd like to ask if the devs can look into doing appropriate cost reductions for all weapon paths, not just the raid path. On a side-note... can we please make Blood Roses account-bound by now like the other lower raid materials? That would also be pretty useful.
  6. I'm going to agree with this post, but not about PvP. Honestly, I feel like KFM is one of the most disrespected classes in the game right now. They used to be solid... but with various updates, many skills have been nerfed more and more. They're tank classes that are so weak, they can't effectively tank. They HAD a party buff, but are one of the only classes who had their party buff turned to a single buff (I don't care as much about Alpha Call, since who ever used it?). Their Searing Palm was nerfed into the ground (though to be fair, it gave them over 100% critical rate) and they had one of the most lackluster 3rd specs so far. I know that even the mods understand this class was done dirty... so why do they continue to kneecap us?
  7. You're saying that 3rd spec BD is way more OP compared to their other specs versus the other classes who have 3rd spec classes? I think Blade Master would have a word about that... being one of the most overpowered classes in 3rd spec... not to mention FM. In fact, MOST 3rd spec classes have been stronger than their counterparts... primarily because they want you to play them. BD doesn't need a 3rd spec nerf, but rather a buff to their other specs... though, more accurately, there just needs to be some serious re-balancing for most classes in general.
  8. Hey, all! I took a little break from the game (a little before Grim Tidings) and decided to try and look up any guides/info/comparisons to the new 3rd spec BD. However, it's been exceptionally difficult to look up any information. Anyone who has any experience with the new spec, would you be able to provide some insight into the 3rd spec, how it plays, how it compares to the other specs and what-not? Any information would be great and having it here on the forum will be useful for others also looking for that info. Thanks in advance! ^w^d
  9. Hey all. Considering the drama surrounding the last event, let's just put this out there now, before someone has another aneurysm... With the event ending, remember to log on, spend your event currency as much as you can. Do not expect that you'll be able to use it, just because other events have let you. If you want to gamble on maybe they'll let you do something with the event currency items, feel free to try... but don't expect you'll be able to or that all of the items will still be in the shop for you. Trying to use event items after the event is over is risky - you can try to, but there's no guarantee you'll be able to. The Summer Brew event took out items from Dragon Express after the event ended that people would try to buy after the event. The Halloween event didn't let you use many of the event currency items like people assumed they could after the event. When the event ends, the event ends. That's the bottom line, really. So ya... spend that event currency now and don't be caught holding the bag.
  10. Here - I'll make it easy for you... https://www.hongmoon-archives.com/classes Has pretty much all the info you'll need. EDIT: You'll have to copy/paste the URL
  11. Okay, look... this is what I did. I was waiting for recruitment in Brood Chamber, so I used the corner to run 20m and loosely timed myself. It took about five seconds, which, dividing into the 20m distance got me 4m/s. So, I multiplied that by 60 (to bring that up to minutes), then by 60 again (for hours). That got me 14,400m per hour or roughly 14km/h. The average male runner between the ages of 18-35 is a little above 13km/h, while the average female runner is closer to 12. So, it's not unreasonable to go 14km/h.
  12. I'm going to be blunt - you should always plan to finish the event BY the final day. Never assume you can just go past the event and keep going. If you have basic event currency and it says it can be used after the event's due date, you can likely gamble on it being available, but don't count on it. The Summer Brews from a couple of events were a good proof of this. While the brews could be used in the shop after the event, 90% of the items you could buy became unavailable as the event ended. A lot of people assumed they could just do what they wanted and move past the event date, but that was playing with fire in of itself. Simply put... and to everyone who just assumed they could keep transmuting and using the tiles... you dun goofed. Let that be a lesson for next time.
  13. The yellow tokens can still be spent in the dragon trade union. Everything else is over and done with.
  14. Why did you decide to make it 30 normal badges and 60 Ascension Badges? It effectively now takes 90 badges total to make anything right now - 20 more than normal. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't that way for EVERY badge. I think it would have been preferable to allow the Ascension tokens to be converted into the other colours at a 1:1 ratio, then just keep the 70 token requirement. It feels like a step backwards honestly.
  15. Well, the only measurement of length we have in the game is from targeting (which is in meters) so it only makes sense to use that for our distance. Once you have the meters per second, you can convert it to imperial and determine yards/miles or what have you. EDIT: So, I did a little test (nothing super precise), but I got an approximate speed of about 4 meters per second... roughly 14 km/h. Doing a quick Google search... that's a little over the average for an 18 to 35-year old man (and a little bit more over the average for a similarly aged woman).
  16. I mean... the most logical thing I can think of doing in order to figure out how fast the characters can sprint is to go somewhere with a target you can fight (say the training room), get as far away as possible from the target (while still being able to see your distance from them) and note the starting distance. Then, once you have your distance, do a full sprint directly at them. Time the moment from when you start running to the moment you run into the dummy and you have your time factor. Now, all you need to do is calculate speed, since you have distance and time (in meters). Speed = Distance over Time, so take the distance between you and the target, divide it by the time it took to run to the target and presto - speed (in meters per second)
  17. One way to fix this? Just use Simple Mode. It works pretty well with both paths for Astromancer (though it does better with the Thunderer than the Starcaster). Then your F key is freed up for looting.
  18. LMAO gatekeeping? Okay, sure. Look, it's free stuff. You can take it or not. Sure, it'd be nice to get something better, but complaining it's not good enough? That's just entitled, no matter which way you look at it.
  19. First and foremost, I hope you've been getting the Dragon Trade Pouches from Master Hong whenever they pop up to increase inventory space as that'll be highly useful. As for utilizing/storing items... Basic Storage This storage can hold pretty much anything and is the most versatile of your storage tabs. However, it's also the hardest to upgrade and therefore the smallest. Equipable items (weapons, accessories, gems) you're not using are best placed in here. Pretty much, anything you can't put into your... Secondary Storage This is the easiest one to upgrade and, though it does limit what kind of items can be put into it, the Secondary Storage will hold the bulk of your items. Primarily, this is where materials and consumables you're not using ought to be stored. Anything you don't need to have on you all the time should go in here as much as possible. Premium Storage If you're a premium user (or luck out and get a 7 day premium from an event or giveaway) this storage is perfect for items you're saving for a rainy day. While you have premium, you can access it like any other storage, but if your premium runs out, you won't be able to put items into it. You CAN, however, take things out or leave them in there. That's why this is great for things you want to hang onto, but don't plan on pulling out until they're being taken out for good. For example, if you want to fuse some badges together and know it'll be a while until you get the materials, you can stuff the badges into the premium storage until you're ready to fuse and equip them. There are other handy ways to store some items... Showroom If you have outfits or weapons you want to store, most of the time, they can be put into the Storeroom. This should especially be the case with outfits as there's a LOT of them. Received Items Notice the little box symbol at the bottom of the screen? Notice how whenever you do a Daily Dash spin, the item you got from the spin is shown near that box in a little message? This is the Received Items tab in your mail. Pretty much every time you get something from the game that is going to your account and not directly to a character (IE: when you buy something in the Hongmoon Store), it will arrive in your Received Items. Now, this isn't a storage in the same way as the other above items (as in you can't put things into it), but you can leave any items you don't intend on using in there. The added benefit of this is that Received Items is across your entire account, so you can pull items out of it when you need them on any character you need them on. There is no real limit to how many things you can leave in there as well (I'm up to 14 tabs myself lol), so it's a great way to hold onto items until you actually require them without taking up inventory space. So, with all that in mind, I hope you have a general idea on what to do with your inventories.
  20. You are correct. War Song is the best badge for Windpiercer Archer. If you don't have access to ability to fuse badges, you can gain Martial Tokens for access to the oldschool fused badges. In that case, get Undying. So, to summarize: -War Song if you can fuse badges -Undying if you can't
  21. Oh no... the wheel that gives you free items twice a day (3 for premium) doesn't give you the free stuff you want anymore... oh noooooo...
  22. So... I don't know if you realize this... but the prior event had all of the bosses nerfed so players could do the Call To Arms event and gain remnants. The event is over, so the bosses have their nerfs removed. So, if you're having a hard time, I recommend looking at easier daily challenges to do for your 3/5/7 completions. Moon Refuge, Koldrak and fighting Junghado are all regular DCs that are all easy to do for pretty much anyone. Cold Storage and Heaven's Mandate alternate every day and are also easy dungeons (they weren't even nerfed in the prior event). Drowning Deeps, Sandstorm Temple, Ransacked Treasury and The Shadowmoor are all relatively easy for even a minimally-geared party to do. With a stronger party, Dreamsong Theater, Brood Chamber, Warped Citadel and even Cathedra Cliffs is entirely doable. Above that, you're going to need to know the mechanics. But even then, that's a lot of dungeons that can get you your Daily Challenge. And, on top of all of that, this current event gives you one Daily Challenge clear for doing Tower of Memory (which is actually kind of awesome)... and that dungeon doesn't need gear at all. Just pick up a gun and do the very easy mechanics. Although having the "Easy Mode" that other dungeons would be nice, the nerfed dungeons in the last event were for the event.
  23. Great! I hope we'll be able to run it up the chain to the devs and see if they're down. As for the forum channel, thank you for adding it. Also, thanks for the response. I appreciate it ^w^d
  24. So, the strongest badge for your class and path is Wingrise (fuse Songbird and Premonition). If you're unable to get the Liberty and Resurgence tokens for it those badges (or the 5 Divine Grace Stones and 1 Premium Transformation Stone), you can obtain the older generation of fused badges via Martial Tokens from things like Junghado in Mushin's Tower or Koldrak. With 20 Martial Tokens, you can buy the older gen fused badges in Dragon Express. For your class and path, you'll want to aim for Limitless with Martial Tokens.
  25. Hey! I have a question primarily for the moderator staff... very simple and to the point? 1) Are we going to get an Astromancer section in the class forums any time soon? 2) Will you be fixing the Astromancer class logo not appearing in the character profile window? 3) Will we be getting the remaining orb skins into the game sometime soon (as most aren't in the data and are replaced by the training weapon as a placeholder) The last question is more about clarification about skills, specifically, the Astromancer TAB ability. TAB for Astromancer activates a party buff that gives 20% mystic to party members in range. It's a nice buff and helps add a little more party DPS. However, one thing I've noticed is that, unlike the other party-effecting abilities (Fighting Spirit, Soulburn/Soul Flare), it's cooldown is not reset by Alpha Call. Is this a glitch or is it intentional? If it is intentional, what reason is there to hamper a party buff when every other buff isn't? Would the game staff consider fixing this?
