I've filed a ticket with support and they tried to help. I reinstalled windows 10 which helped for about a day or 2, disabled most applications on start up, reinstalled BnS multiple times, ran file repairs, reinstalled launcher, optimized drives, updated drivers, the list goes on. Some days are good with maybe one crash over a long play session. Some days I'll get 3 crashes in an hr. It's almost like the game corrupts its own files or something. Most of my crashes occur when loading in to a new environment. Others just randomly happen. I use windows defender as antivirus and have discord usually running in the background. But that's pretty much it. Anyone have any suggestions cause I've never ran in to a game that crashes as much as BnS does. It's the most unstable PC gaming experience I've ever had. Is it their anticheat program? I don't know. Thanks for your help.

I noticed this last night. I have to ask, does anyone at NC event test their patches before they come out? Are the dream world devs coding these patches? wtf

This game is poorly managed. And its sad. It really is. You have a gem of a game in BnS. This emergency patch really has me scratching my head. I've played a lot of mmos going on 10 years now and I've never witnessed a company screw up so bad, wait almost a day to address it, then postpone fixing it until the next maintenance. I go and spend 150 gold on angler's pearls so I can exchange for cloths. What do you do? You remove it. I planned on using my 250 armorer's remnants and what do you do? You remove them. Then you go silent as if all is fine and dandy. Consider me a new player since I left when this event dungeon was end game and 45 was the cap. Here's some additional genuine gripes about the absolute state of your game: -Your launcher is absolute trash. Burn it and start from scratch. Seriously. It took me a few days to finally figure out how to get it to download the game in it's entirety. You have to constantly close the launcher just to get it to dl the whole game. At least I had to and I know I'm not the only one. -Your upgrade system implies you should already know everything about it. As a new player, you don't know what scales to save, what to go for in chests for future upgrades. It's garbage. At least put back in the upgrade path UI with materials required. Thankfully, there are great players in this game that have guided me through it. There's literally no explanation on gear evolution in this game. -The game is not stable. I've experienced multiple crashes (although it's somewhat improved after 2 re-installs). It's hard crashed my pc on at least 3 occasions. No other game has done this except BnS. -Dead content everywhere. You've got all these great dungeons but they're dead. No one does them except for obtaining costumes. The other day I helped out a newbie in a beginner dungeon and I was one shotting everything. It was no fun for me or him. Make dead content & low lvl dungeons relevant for both new and mid-late game players. FFXIV does a great job at this with their dungeons. It would make the new player experience so much better instead of "rush to 60 then do mushin's till your fingers bleed." -Communication. The communication is just poor between NC and it's player base. My dog communicates better when she needs to drop a duce. Communication goes a long way. Use it. And lastly, you were able to keep me engaged for a month so far. There are many other mmos I could be playing right now. Returning to bdo looking real appetizing right now. Don't continue to screw this game and it's passionate player base. I want to continue to play BnS. But holy crap, this emergency patch has got me 2nd guessing playing your game. Get your act together or say the quiet part out loud so we can all freely grab out belongings and show ourselves the door.

I'm pretty new to BnS myself. Played on release but had to quit do to computer issues. This game seems to lack a path for new players to engage in current content aside from events like C2A. If not for C2A I would not have come back to the game because the road to being able to even do EASY dungeons is ridiculous. And I'm not some insta grat brat either. I like Korean grinders. I played BDO for a year - before they introduced the seasons to help newbies get geared up quickly. It sounds like the devs are addressing the gear issue with the November update which is good but IMO, they should keep the C2A event until then. This thread will probably be moot come November but there should always, and I do mean always, be a path for new players to be able to engage in the bare minimum easy dungeons in an mmo. And I'm not talking about grind through multiple levels of weapon upgrades just to get there. And I say the above not because I'm an insta grat brat, but because I like the game and want it to grow. Every MMO needs new players. Every business needs new customers to survive. And lets face it. BnS is a business. I've seen the revenue reports for NA. Trust me, NA BnS needs new customers.

Easily the worst game launcher I have ever encountered after playing 10+ different mmos. Hell, even LOTRO's game launcher works better. I cannot for the life of me understand how this launcher ever passed QC. Of all things, you have to get the launcher right. It's the first barrier to entry in the game and they couldn't even get that right.

Gotta love it. Game has 1 foot in the grave and this is your response. It's no wonder this game is notorious for a bad community. You just proved them right.

I have recommended specs and this game crashes for me sometimes up to 5 times a play session. Mostly when I load in to or attempt to switch areas. A couple times it hard crashed my pc and it had to restart. Is anyone else experiencing this? This is the only game I experience this kind of crashing on. Doing a fresh reinstall takes ages cause NC's launcher is s**t. Thats what I'm trying right now because I kept crashing after I left floor 20 in mushins tower. Now I can't log in on my character cause I crash every time. It's been going like this for over a week now.

So atm I'm attempting a fresh install of BnS because my game crashes at least 3 times a play session and on a few occasions hard crashed my pc. But the launcher is trash. I'm stuck at 21%. No other launcher does this. Last time I tried to install UE4 it took all night and I had to close the launcher and reopen it multiple times to get it to continue to download. How is this acceptable? I've never played any other game with this much hassle and frustration. BnS RNG for me is rolling the dice every time I load in to a new location cause there's a high probability it'll crash. I have the recommended specs. I don't run the game on high anything. Prior to uninstalling and attempting to reinstall my game crashed leaving Mushin's tower and would crash every time I relogged in. I can run BDO, GW2, FFXIV, SWTOR, Lost Ark just fine. It's 2021. This game has been out for how long? Fix your game. This is inexcusable. Been at 21% download for 30 minutes now. Well done. well done.
